  1. Our CBs need to be better at corner kicks when we are atracking. & they need to be able to handle the physicality (when did that word appear ? To me its cluggers)

    Too soft at times.

    Anyway onwards & upwards

  2. Hi Bhoys

Just incase you missed it due to BBC Scotland not reporting it in the national news. The wee ugly hun’s motor was being tampered with by a P.I. hired by his wife because she suspects him of cheating on her allegedly.

Funny how this story was reported on every time they were on air until the truth comes out. 🤔🤔🤔

    KEEP THE FAITH

  3. Big Wavy – who would you drop? Ntcham, Taylor and ?

Motherwell at Fir Park usually a bit of a rough house. If they watched our recent games they will know Ajer and Julien are vulnerable in the air, especially from set pieces and corners.

For two big guys, they sometimes seem to have lead weights in their boots.

Hope Patryk gets at least a half. He came to us match fit and full of confidence. Needs a chance to shine.

  4. TONY ROME

Apparently the P.I. is a season ticket holder at the victorian lavvy!

    Coodny make it up!

  5. Deniabhoy

I’d drop Taylor for Hayes and have a midfield 3 of Ntcham, Rogic and Christie (perpetual forward movement) – dropping Brown and McGregor in the process. Neil won’t though.

Cockles warmed by Neil’s news that Moi is in the squad for Wednesday….

  6. Philbhoy 7.03pm

Did Neil Lennon’s Celtic best Lazio home & away ??? By the way I think Rennes are you to around 3rd on Ligue Un (sic)…. and the Huns are pure Sick 🤢

  7. Speaking of players returning from injury, anyone know how long until the likes of Elyonoussi, Elhamed, Frimpong etc. return?

It used to be, a player got injured, the club gave us a time frame, then he returned

Now, when player gets injured, we dont find out until a few days later what the injury is, then we are given an update, usually a general non-specific description (such as ‘he has a problem with his… ‘) and it’s some random time period for his return, then this time period passes, and there is no sign or update on said injury. Maybe, if prompted, the manager will come out with something like ‘he’s still a bit away yet’

I don’t get it, especially now with social Media etc. Why is there such a lack of communication between the club and fans?

I mean, does anyone actually know what is actually wrong with Elyonoussi, or Frimpong for that matter (apart from foot problem, bruising)

Maybe I’m just being nosey, but I think we should be better updated with regards to fitness progress etc.

  8. BHOYLO83

Understand Elhamed is very close to fitness.

    Nay idea about young Jeremie.

  9. Big Wavy – think you’ll get good odds on that selection 😂

Taylor looked solid on Wed and put in some great crosses. I think he’ll start again. Hayes more effective as a sub in my opinion.

Brown or Calmac rested wouldn’t be the worst decision from Neil but can’t see it.

  10. Must admit with an hour gone today I was questioning my schadenfreude at the Hun yesterday – thank goodness it all worked out fine

  11. If Brian Rice is suspended from football why was he allowed to sit in the stand Mike up to his assistant??

  12. Why are the SFA “allowed” to do stuff in private……*cough*……………..like ban playas for gambling………….. and how come that “story”…………. comes ooooot after convenient “patsy” Brian is very publicly…oooooted for gambling and then “banned”………………….How much guff is bearly believable?

  13. Fix fitba: Empty Hampden………………… of crafty knuckle-shufflers who facilitate under-handed chicanery.

  14. Steven Thompson on Sportscene …

Smart jacket & trousers , coiffured hair , trimmed beard , elegant pose with legs neatly crossed … absolute carthorse of a footballer

  15. Thompson……………….thick but pan-loaf hun bam and darling of Shorties hunned-up fitba production dept.

Joabs for the good ole boys.

    BHoycott.

  16. Woohoo, three points and an increased goal difference.

Had to drag myself to Mchuills this morning with a mad hanging over, but wow totally worth it. What a crucial three points.

A very unused cliche “Over the moon” is very apt

    .Talking about incorrect terminology:

Odsonne Edouard is a magnificent Celtic football player but is not near a legend yet.

A generation is much much more than 6 years.

Liquidation is not a temporary scinerio.

HH to all, the journey continues.

The Celtic Blog has been down for a couple of days, is it just me? Doesn’t work on computer or phone.

    ———-

Same, until I turn on JavaScript. Then it works.

  18. We have a pal who actually did his PhD thesis in palindromes.

    We call him ‘Dr Awkward’.

  19. I watched the game with the volume down, so not polluted with pundits perceptions. Celtic played ok after Accies scored. It was tough to break down a packed defence and it could have ended 1-1 had Accies got the run of the green.

But it wasn’t a poor performance by any stretch. Elements of our play could have been better and our passing a bit sharper but overall it was a routine 3 points. Once we got the second (fabulous finish btw) it was a matter of how many.

I like to see strikers getting a goal or two but I also love to see defenders and midfielders hitting the onion bag regularly. We are in good shape despite losing the transfer window cup.

  20. From a deluded Hun in the bear’s den …

Its been brutal. Dreading work on Monday. I’ve found that owning the situation helps, completely kills their gloating.

  21. some say that MJ is a bit lightweight and needs to bulk up to be able to compete at this level , well I would say that both our centre backs julienne and ayer need to do the same, 6ft 5ins tall but both too easily muscled off the ball.
