Hope Commons stays he deserves a 2 year extension though I’d hope we could find a better quality playmaker.
For the first 65 minutes today Nir was the best player on the park but for the full 90 mins Denayer just edged it for me. Great performance from a player who’s been out for so long.

Geordie Munro. It was on news now Celtic earlier in the day it should still be there if you look for it sorry I cant remember the exact source. H.H.
Defensively solid. Dominant but front 4 poor, though slightly improved second half. Izzy good, Bitton terrific, Matthews MOTM.
Couple of great goals. Good win at a tough venue.
In the history of CQN, no ref ever gets any credit, they are all part of some conspiracy against us. Well I thought the referee was excellent as well.

Result we needed. Last 15 minutes were diabolical. We are desperate for a striker. MOM – Virgil natural leader and should be captain. Wouldn’t argue with Izzie though.
Excellent from Biton,Matthews and Denayer.

I like Chris Commons at his best and at his best he was a game changer, but he simply has not been at that level for a while. Today was typical of recent standard, not bad but not special.
So I think that has to be factored in when it comes to holding on to him.
Who do you leave out waiting to see if he regains previous form?
If he is staying I hope he recaptures it quickly, if he is going I understand why and it’s not about RD not fancying him. It’s about form.

One thing that still bothers me is if KC is moving on I hope we dont replace him with Maloney for me he is yesterdays man. H.H.

If an EPL team can agree wages with Maloney no chance we can afford him.
Only way Commons is leaving this month is if Bolton offer a fee that we agree to, Id think if we get a fee in then it would go straight out to Dundee Utd

Commons leaving…
I think we’ve stumbled across our preferred mid field 5…
Brown and Bitton sitting
Johansen in the Commons role
Henderson and Forrest on the flanks
The problem with Commons leaving, is it weakens the squad. Any of the 5 above injured or missing then we don’t have adequate replacements.
Mcgregor again today looked little boy lost when he came on. Not up to it

Dear Ronald …..if Commons goes it will come come and bite you, notwithstanding all your fist-pumping after each away game. Doesn’t fool me.
The ref handled the cards well by not issuing too many of them for nothing tackles. But his non use of the advantage rule was atrocious. On four separate occasions we had good breaks pulled back for fouls to us.
!!Bada Bing!! on
A disgrace letting Commons go for the sake of a couple of hundred grand
Money that Palace were talking about was on no interest to Celtic. Only way Kris is going is if Bolton – a club with horrendous debt – are going to make a much more attractive offer. Leicester were prepared to pay a million for Maloney who also has six months on his contract. That’s roughly the figure Bolton will need to look at.

Good victory today. Pleased for Matthews, who’s not convinced me this season. But that performance and goal will do his confidence no harm. Commons played well too. We may still keep him yet but I still think he’s for the off.
Ref had a decent game too. He’s the best of a bad bunch IMO
