CG had to produce that save after Hamilton got a corner following a poor attempted pass from Jason.

too many long passes when in possession, the ball takes a different bounce and has different pace to it when playing on plastic, we have not adjusted our passing accordingly.
Hamilton will have to open up second half which should give us more opportunities

A perfect example of why recruiting an effective wide man (men) is a priority.
You could throw a rope around our front players at times.

I think Henderson is staying out wide, which stretches the centre.
Bitton once again shows he is a player.
Good move ending with a wonder strike from Matthews.
The only bit of quality from us in this half.
The other standout moment was VVD clearing a header then Gordon having a wonder save.
That apart we are a very ordinary SPL side.
I just don’t understand how our results this season justify the uber confidence that we will run away with the league and hammer Sevco.
In my book the league run in is an equal race , and the cup ties are one if matches that could easily go against us.
Very concerned.

Virgil has been watching some old videos of Peter Grant, pointing and barking out instructions.
I’m impressed with his vocal performance so the watching scouts must be as well.

Great goal from Mathews there but generally poor performances all round in 1st half. Hopefully up the game in second half now and start to look like a team who has played together before.
