JAMES FORREST, Celtic’s most decorated player, celebrates his 34th birthday today.

The Premiership season starts on Sunday August 3 when St Mirren visit Parkhead on Flag Day – and that will kick off the evergreen winger’s search more more honours.

Forrest has amassed an incredible TWENTY-SIX medals – 13 league titles, eight Scottish Cups and five League Cups – making him the most decorated player in the club’s history.

in his glittering career after marking his Hoops debut with a goal in a 4-0 win over Motherwell in the east end of Glasgow on May 1 2010.

The prolific attacker claimed his 100th strike with a hat-trick in a 6-1 home romp against Hibs on October 15 2022.

THREE CHEERS…James Forrest joins in the League Cup-winning celebrations alongside Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter-Vickers after Celtic’s penalty-kick shoot-out success at Hampden in December last year.

He maintained his stunning sequence of scoring in every year since his introduction as a substitute for Aiden McGeady against the Fir Park club when he rifled in the stoppage-time leveller against the Saints on the last league outing of the season.

It was also his 109th goal for the club.

Now there is a new season coming up fast with new challenges for the Prestwick-born one-club man.

What’s the betting James Forrest is smiling when the smoke of battle clears on another crusade?

Happy birthday, Jamesy!
