A constituency within Newco had enough of Celtic fans turning Ibrox into a party venue. They decided an arrangement, that has been in place when Celtic visit Ibrox for longer than the host club has been in existence, had to stop, and convinced Newco to do their bidding. Celtic were offered 700 tickets, an arrangement they reciprocated.
This is a farce, it is inherently unsafe, it incurs disproportionate police costs and Celtic should have no part of it. Tell them the normal allocation of 7,500 tickets for visiting fans should be issued, or there should be no visiting fans whatsoever.
Celtic have an open invitiation to accomodate 7,500 fans or to reciprocate at a lower number. In effect, this is a passive stance, ceeding the decision to one of Newco’s pressure groups. It is time to take control, either there should be no visiting fans or a safe and appropriate number. We cannot allow Scottish football to be ragdoll-ed by an angry fringe any longer. I would be happy if we never saw them inside Celtic Park again.

That made me smile. The shouting? Fosbury Flop? Desperate for a drink? Celtic midfielder shooting?

The SNP in the west of Scotland is a different animal to the SNP in the NE.

Spot-on…..and we all know why.
Man City may yet pay for that late Benzema penalty and not defeating a weakened Madrid by more than one goal.
EMERALDBEE🤣😂😅
DeBruyne not in the game yet.
Is the ref in the City/Real match Scottish by any chance ?
Benzema in the goolies. Ouch!
Ancelotti calmest man in stadium.

Enjoyed it. Probably didn’t feel as good as it should getting a draw after leading but ultimately they failed to get the only result that realistically could have saved them. They through it all at us and got a bit of help from their friend but fell short. So it should have felt better.
The awards night was good. Well attended but a noisy audience treated to token on stage appearance by a handful of players and Ange was not quite as good as previous. It is a great pity the club used Covid as the excuse not to allow the players to be immersed in the event. That said with the amount of alcohol consumed pre and during by the audience I guess it would have been carnage if the players had been more accessible. Not sure some of our imports would be culturally ready for it !!’
Overall though definitely a really good day.
Sadly I was really hoping it would be finished in style on Sunday as I have to go ‘under the knife’ for a bit of surgery in a few days which will mean I will miss the final 3 games this season. Hopefully I have plenty to celebrate when I get out of the hospital and also in time to see Hertz ensure rangers stay at 1 trophy out of the past 33 in Scotland.

What’s everyone doing for the Queen’s jubilee? Street party just like 1977?

Just got my red, white and blue bunting from Amazon. I want to get a huge Union Jack, but it has to be a Union Jack as in the union between England, Scotland and Wales and not the one between the North of Ireland and England. Strange thing is, Amazon says that such a flag does not exist.

A United Ireland but at the cost of an elected head of State being replaced by a monarch? I’d imagine for most people in the 26 counties, including me, that’s a step too far. There’s no going back once you’re living in a republic, there’s no upside to inbred degenerates ‘lording’ it over us, instead of electing that person every 7 years as now!
Both teams well organized without the ball.
Walker fast enough to catch Vinicius.
I stated the other day
That 790 visitors at our stadium on Sunday, hurling numerous items and including their racism or sectarianism, abusing Celtic fans
Was very predominately executive club members from the visiting club.
That’s how their executives behave
I blame the schooling
*electing a president I should have made clear, not an inbred degenerate although if that who people vote for……

Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves.
Proud to be British CSC
Game is at 100MPH. Incredible effort by both teams.
Prestonpans Bhoys,
Real Madrid are currently in the middle if a major upgrade of the Bernabeu, hence lots of areas not available for fans. Still miles away from being finished. Will be awesome when it is.
Barcelona have similar plans for the Nou Camp, they can’t be left behind by their big rival.
Benzema misses sitter, but offside.
Foden overhits his corners.
HT. Game on knife edge.

Thanks for the info, at first thought it was a ban thing but that didn’t make sense👍
Walker’s pace looks to have completely nullified the Real Madrid counter attacks which floored City last week.
Not just Scottish referees that are shit.
This guy is shocking.
Casimero, could easily have been booked on 3 occasions.
English commentary team on Indian Sony 10,aarghh.So biased.Make you I’ll.Apart from them, coverage, picture, always fantastic. They grate me as much as Mc Culloch does on Celtic TV.

LOL- put the Calvin Klein away and for God’s sake get a life.
Evening all.
I heard earlier on Radio Scotland. that Uri Geller was ‘sending strong, positive vibes’ to Old Firm Fc.
Hope he is not expecting to get paid :)

Madrid are spending 500 million on upgrading stadium. This video gives a taste of what they are building.

Man City on the rack. Galacticos start like a house on fire.

Watching on Mexican TV. I understand very little of commentary, but you feel the commentators really understand the game. They get excited, but are unbiased.
Beats American or English commentary out the park!
St Tams – Ours are not only shit but corrupt as well.

2 or 3 weeks in hospital sounds a lot more than a ‘bit of surgery’. Best wishes for a total recovery,
Man City need a breakaway goal to kill this game. Galacticos increasingly desperate.

I didnt share i donnt think my own wee unique experience of sunday.
I parked at Tesco forge about 10 minutes before kick off.
I hobbled along the road with a sore knee getting onto Janefield street , and what was obvious nearly everybody was already in
9 POLICE VANS parked in the road next to the bus park.
I got in 7 minutes after kick off, and as is my want, went rounf to the lisbon lions, poking my head out the tunnels to catch a glimpse of the action, moving on when a break in the game, i got round the far end and took up a position down the front , right on the stairs, , right across from thems.
I kept scanning their crowd, see if i knew anyone, looking at the demographics.
the “exec club a1 ” status is their equivalent of our on the list away supporters, definately not the sponsors and execs. its the travelling berz, the hardcore, the most ugly hearted. i know this from the chat on ff. they take pride in the journey, lifers if you like.
what also struck me, the disabled supporters platform at the front, made up of about 10 wheelchairs, but, but but, to my jaw dropping view, most of them were kids. I cant fathom it, could i take any kid to that game and plonk them in the front,
IN FRONT OF THEIR ONION PEARS. BLACK OUTFITS TOP TO TOE, MASKED UP, FACES HIDDEN, VILE VILE CHANTS, MAYBE ABOUT 200 OF THEM ARE IN THIS CATEGORY.
further up the bus loyals, the presidents of their clubs, and their old casuals, the para flags, loyalist flags,
right above them, the police control room.
at any point many were breaking a law.
they could have had a polis each, but still no arrests
the goal was sweet.
2nd hald went back rounf to 122.
never let them in again, the 3-0 game was an absolute joy.
Silva and Modric never waste a ball.
If this was an Italian league game, would be about 5 or 6 cards by now
Walker struggling.
Kroos off for Rodrygo. Carlo going for it.
Walker hurt . Zinchenko probably coming on.
