If you think Brendan likes losing to levein you must be crazy, there is no love there and Brendan will like nothing more than shutting him up.

It looks like the GAA here with a team sheet announced & changed 2 or 3 times before kick off & then the team that takes to the pitch looking nothing like the team sheet !!!
Griff to reach his 100th goal at Tynecastle. Written in the stars?

Hmm 1-0 to JJ.
I’m quite happy with the team TBH. This is exactly why Kouassi etc were signed in the first place.
OK Bhoys, shinpads and crash helmets on – and that’s just for us watching on TV!
Hopefully, a reversal of the scoreline in the corresponding fixture last year.

BRENDAN Rodgers has made five changes to the side that played against AEK Athens in midweek for Celtic’s Scottish Premiership trip to Tynecastle to face Hearts, with Jonny Hayes, Jozo Simunovic, Eboue Kouassi, Scott Sinclair and Leigh Griffiths all coming into the starting XI.
Celtic got their pursuit of an eighth consecutive league title off to a strong start last weekend (August 4) with a 3-1 win over Livingston at Paradise on Flag Day.
Callum McGregor, who netted in Celtic’s 1-1 draw against AEK Athens on Wednesday night in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League qualifier in Glasgow, starts in midfield in front of Scott Brown and Kouassi.
Kick-off at Tynecastle is 12:30pm. For all the pre-match build-up and live updates head to the official Celtic Twitter- @CelticFC
This team is being sent out on a wing and a prayer.Sinclair,Hayes, not exactly on fire. They will have to step up theirrecent performances.
C,mon the hoops.

Looks like yon eejit was correct, Brendan is a PLC fudge / squirrel, brought to the club at the same time as, £49 Sevco / £49 Rangers ‘rentered’ the League, with a backdrop of fan rebellion in the air, Brendan has ensured that the £49 old firm fixtures have been eased back into Celtic supporter’s psyche, without seats being emptied, or the PLC having to face the stripping of stolen trophies.

BR doing a managers job well. Big squad being used correctly. Given the potential riches on offer should we win against AEK resting key players makes perfect sense to me. Hope the ref is good today. The diets will try and rough house our CBs.
Yeah Hayes did play well last week, Looking forward to seeing Leigh back and Johnny kick on and Eboue take his chance. The others needed a rest and Sinky looks like he is very distracted.

I hope this team today are up for it. The crowd and the players were flat on Wednesday and I hope it doen’t carry forward.
On Boyata, it’s obvious from his agents statements that he wants away and if we don’t agree to “promises” we will see more “injuries”.
It is crazy to hold on to this player and let his contract run down. Brendan would get the £9m for new players, now we get nothing have an unhappy player, affecting those around him and the pattern is that he will be often injured.
