Postecoglou recently said. “Why waste a minute of it? We are doing what we love, we are passionate about our football, we are playing for a special club. Why would you want to waste a game or waste a minute of that thinking about something else? Or thinking that maybe this isn’t what you want?”
It will be as ” Funny as Feck” at Ipox on Saturday as when the Teams emerge from the Tunnel….the Ipox DJ plays ” SIMPLY THE BEST” ?
LOL.
The Hun Hordes will be reluctant to sing along methinks ?

The Guardian
Postecoglou’s status among the supporters is God-like. He could launch a bid for the Rangers captain James Tavernier without significant dissent (Tavernier would not get into Celtic’s first XI anyway).
The above article claims that, if we win the Cup, Calmac could be the FIRST player to win five trebles.
Putting aside the fact that trebles are much more difficult in other countries, would it not sound better to say he would be the ONLY player ever to have achieved this?
To be honest, it sounds a wee bit like Most successful club ever claims.
Interesting to see the differences between BBC and Sky on the sending off , pretty clear that Daizen was tripped while having a square ball to wee Kyogo for a tap in !
McCann who thought it was a correct sending off then openly hoping Ange leaves in the next breath , they are really hurting , the wee turd should be binned.
On the playing front thought we just let Hearts run about at the start and they ran out of puff after 30 mins …. We were secure under the high ball , young Yuki very good at man marking , won most aerial challenges, distribution good , got caught the odd time playing out , but a big improvement on Jenz.
Over at Ipox , Beale still can’t keep his trap shut , undermining team morale with every press conference, he’ll be out when they exit Euro next season. Finally, young Cantwell needs to stop listening to the flute music , if he carries on his histrionics , there are plenty of strapping big lhads in the SPL who will ruff him up …

A reminder that the AGM of the Shipbank Shipwrecks will take place on Friday 12th May at Saltmarket 12pm onwards. Pre match warm up at McKinnons from 8am. A select gathering of drunks, ne’er do wells and rogues.

Astonishing the hun-turnaround. From racous laughter at the joke appointment of the unknown Ozzie (but us Ozzie’s knew better) within months they are trying to flog him off to the EPL, knowing that the only way to stop him and Celtic was to get him snapped up by the filthy lucre down south. Today we see the same campaign as he continues his onslaught. One thing springs to mind, the video of his tale about his coming to Celtic. It struck me that he is greatly appreciative of the opportunity given to him when he felt no-one was interested. I think he will want to deliver far far more than he has so far. I don’t see him being as stupid as Rodgers. The EPL may offer megabucks but it often kills careers. He has glory days ahead where he is. I suspect he knows this. His motivation is not money.

I agree with your first comment (as regards Sportscene anyway as I don`t have Sky). Sportscene pundits were unequivocal….it was a Red Card.
As regards McCann. I much prefer that honesty as opposed to the ` I am a St.Mirren` fan nonsense others spout.

Really enjoyed the post match celebrations yesterday. Quite jealous of the thousand or so Celtic fans who enjoyed an almost personal joy with the players. They really hate us there so must have been extra special for everyone.
Detected a slightly different approach to questions from Joe Hart, last year he was full of wonder and so happy to be here , he still is obviously, he seems now to know what we’re up against. He’s been a tremendous signing, just what we needed, for those that crave a younger more football skilled goalie be careful what you wish for.
As for the sending off, we are all older on here and remember when that sort of foul was routine. Cynical, the English commentators would call it. It’s exactly why the laws were changed, gets pulled down deliberately outside the box so no penalty and a difficult free kick position. Daizen was clean through for a simple square ball for Kyogo to score, red card .

My friends in Celtic,
As stated at the time , replays showed there was no doubt that the red card was the correct decision. It was an absolute stonewaller.
At the time I wasn’t quite so sure.
Deservedly champions and still the only unbeaten team since domestic VAR was introduced.
A few random points :-
I thought Anthony Ralston was brilliant considering his game time. We must find a way to involve Anthony more often.
Our remaining league games should be played with an eye to our upcoming European campaign. Perfect games for consolidation and indeed experimention.
Happy 100 games to Ange’s most influential signing. But our number 2 should now get some game time until we sign a new goalkeeper.
Callum McGregor may not win player of the year but I think he wins person of the year. ( Apart from Ange of course ) His role both on and off the park has been incredible and has surpassed expectations.
Some money must be found to upgrade our infrastructure and increase the match day experience. Look at the scenes at Parkhead last evening. Not so long ago, such a facility did not exist. The Celtic way is incredible but progress must continue.
Youth & development must be prioritised, and Ange has recognised this.
Finally, our season ticket pricing has been fair. Let’s keep it that way for Europe. I do feel the club has recognised the financial predicament and acted appropriately.
Oh and as an aside: No huns at Paradise next season. We don’t want them and we certainly don’t need them.
A a poster regularly states, this is great Celtic times.
Enjoy them.
HH to the Champions. We never stop.

How has Ange got this squad together so quickly? Great job. Massive kudos to the scouting team. Any game we have played this season, we’ve been able to bring on subs who have made a difference.
The penny must be dropping at Mordor now – the europa league run was a blip; they don’t have 50 million to bring in a new team; Cantwell’s as good as it gets; there’s no stars in the youth squad; the leadership of the club is in chaos; we are sustainable and will bring even more players in.
And well done to Michael Stewart for for pointing out their ridiculous penalty record at home when Aberdeen should have had a penalty yesterday.

AT,
I can understand where you are coming from.
I’m glad the club didn’t use current inflation figures to impose increases. So in that respect I am ” happy ”
I hope that money will be found for stadium upgrades. The ” windfalls ” from ex player transfers could fund that.
I would also like to see catering at Parkhead being more realistic. Is it still Sodexo?
Anyway my friend, that is for another day.
What a day yesterday was. And more to come.
It is great to see sooo many people happy. Celtic refresh the parts that others can’t reach.
And despite the intensity of yesterday we still managed to help the needy with foodbanks getting a massive boost.
That is the Celtic we both know and love, winning on and off the park.
HH and Enjoy.

I think Ange will play his strongest available starting 11 for Ibrox. Which is the same team that started Tynecastle.
Still full of joy at our success. Incredible scenes yesterday in Tynecastle and at Celtic Park. What will our next home game be like?
One thing is sure in my mind and that is the togetherness of this team. One only had to watch them on the pitch at the final whistle on Sunday. It ran through the whole squad even seen in those who have not played many games this season.
