Two or three years ago we beat St Mirren 7-0 with all 7 goals coming after they had a man sent off (IIRC we missed the resultant penalty).
Anyway, I also recall some people saying how the red-card altered the game. Now, obviously this is indeed correct, it did alter the game, however the inference being made was that it somehow won us the game. Apparently the 7 goals we went on to score were almost incidental to the ‘main’ talking point of them being reduced to 10 men.
