Fraser Forster is a very good keeper, the 4th goal, Scott to Charlie to Gary was first class and Willie Collum was Willie Collum, what else could we ask of tonight? The support played their part too. Just a good night all round.
Big Fraser pulled off three world class saves tonight, each one added a few hundred grand on to his value.
Quite a few who are praising him now didn’t have a good word to say about him a while back.
Where are all the moaners that were on at the weekend ?

Not read back but thought Collum had a good game tonight. Used the advantage rule very well indeed. Communicated well and was decisive oh and Celtic were pure shite ;-)

What I really like about FF is the way he handles his amazing progress / quality / reputation …he is a TRUE professional……. A great big ghuy…… My grandson called me tonight, before the game ……”if you decide to get me a Celtic strip for ‘one’ of my Christmas presents, get me FF’s jersey ” ….. I said ” it’s up to Santa” ………he said “Grandad, come on !!!!!!!” ……….
Well I must say ,beating that hearts team tonight was very very enjoyable ,I don’t think they will try as hard as that against any other team this season .
Or maybe it’s just my green tinted specs ,then again they may not get Gollum in the middle for anymore fixtures (how many free shots did he give the mini’s tonight ),there really is something about that guy I just can’t stand .
If those imposter’s in maroon tonight play with such enthusiasm in any other game this term they may get off 9th spot unfortunately it will be a wee while before they can play us again

Fraser Forster had a very good game tonight but I still don’t buy the stratospheric improvement argument.
Fraser did not gain confidence in his game because of the penalty save in December 11 against Hearts at CP. Rather the crowd gained confidence in him and were less inclined to magnify his weaknesses.
He had already shown, by his Europa League performances (Cha goal excepted), especially Atletico Madrid away, that he had an unusually well developed set of reflexes. He was still a weakish kicker but he has slowly improved to average in that department. He was conservative in his approach to commanding outwith the 6 yard box but so are most modern keepers.
The combination of a modern light ball, dead ball deliveries that are flat and spinning, and blocking tactics by the attacking team, means that most goalies are not tempted to come sailing far off their line. The criticism that he was slow to get down was a lazy one, an expected fault because of his height, which he did not really display. The goal often cited in justification of this view, was the Jelavic effort at Hampden on a rutted pitch which I think was relaid immediately after the game.
Fraser has continued to make slow steady progress and gain confidence from his plaudits. But he was always a very promising young keeper, even before he came to Celtic. He is not as good as Joe Hart but he has a right good chance of reaching and surpassing that level.
Strange that Pardew should have derided Scotland as a proving ground for keepers. Especially when you see the England no. 2, Ruddy (loaned out by Everton to 7 teams), looked pretty ineffectual in shipping loads to the deid club when he played for Well, and his own keeper, Tim Krul, never registered as the top keeper he is becoming, when he turned out for Falkirk and shipped 7 goals to Rangers and 4 against us..
Sensational low saves by bid FF. Could never understand why anyone didn’t rate him from the start on the basis of a couple of mistakes. I always knew him and Josh Thompson would be the backbone of our team for years to come……

I was v glad to see our performance tonight. Really motivated players and good teamwork.
however…
I cant agree with the epithets of ‘brilliant’ ‘fantastic’ etc. expressed by many.
We were much better but…
often our passing was at times woeful. We were so superior I simply could not understand why we so often hoofed the ball up the park or could not find a team-mate with a simple short pass.
the fact FF did produce 3 excellent saves (outwith the penalty) should suggest something to us all.
Really not trying to belittle a good fighting performance but don’t think exaggeration helps.
Anyway…my bhoys first game at Tynecastle so Im happy for him & don’t know why Im grumpy lol>
