CELTIC’S comeback kids overwhelmed their Manchester United counterparts 3-1 in the Super Cup Final in Coleraine.
The Hoops’ Under-19s showed courage as they reacted to going a goal behind before two strikes from the talented Ewan Henderson sealed victory.
They had fallen behind in the 52nd minute when Ethan Laird netted for the Old Trafford side, but the Parkhead youngsters found the perfect reply when Thomas Caffrey equalised in the 75th minute.
The Irishman cut inside and curled a superb effort beyond helpless United keeper Jacob Carney.
And the Hoops were in front three minutes later when Henderson’s shot deflected off Di’Shon Bernard.
Henderson added a third near the end when he broke away in a counter-attack and struck a neat shot under the exposed Carney.
