    ON has perfected the art of passing the ball behind his team mate running in on goal. HT

     

     

    Since 15 mins we have bossed the game ,just need to be a bit sharper around their box , stop taking extra touches/passes instead of shooting.

    We look like a team heading for a treble, treble. Tired.

     

    Some simple mistakes and missed passes.

     

    This does not excuse Ntcham, he is really off the pace. He needs a better second half.

     

    Izzy is also under pressure when he is defending.

     

    We need to wrap the league up next week and prepare for the Cup Final.

    Very strange half. A very high error count, even for Scottish football.

     

     

    Our mistakes, from Ntcham and Izzy led to them being dangerous in the first 20. But they gave us as many back from Milligan, Gray and Omega (who is, at least, showing N’tcham that, when you are off form, you must keep your effort up).

     

     

    We have 3 players who are on form and attacking in McGregor, Hayes and Edouard, and we better hope they get us on the score sheet before Horgan and McNulty do it for them.

     

     

    Both managers will be justified in tearing into certain players at half time.

    Frustrating first half with build up too slow and too many touches. Passing has been erratic to say the least with Ntcham yet again being the worst culprit.

     

     

    Izzy is being turned too easily and needs to get in position and goal side of the opposition quicker. Definitely need to up the tempo

    I can see Hibs finishing the match with 10 or less if the ref does his job. Not as bad as sheep last week , but showing the same bit of nastiness at times. We seem to bring that out in most teams we play.

    At last we face a team that looks to play football with not a thought of parking the bus. But sadly Celtic playing like we are facing a packed defense. We have the majority of possession but yet our game is littered with loose passes galore, no real penetration and our main attacking threat having to play with his back to goal? Oh and FFS PL employ a ‘set piece coach’. What is Naka up to these days?

     

    Come on Lenny sort this.

    Very good first half, both teams doing well. We look the most likely to score as we’re creating good opportunities building from midfield. Hibs had a couple of early half chances but we’ve restricted them to efforts from outside the box.

     

     

    McGregor having a great game, also Hayes down the left causing them problems. Jozo and Ajer who started the season as maybe 3rd and 4th choices in central defense are developing a strong partnership. Both playing very well. Oli has had a few loose balls but he’s working his way back into the team and into form.

     

     

    I think if we can get a goal early in second half we can win this comfortably.

    Good game of football, but mistakes on both sides. After a good opening from Hibs we have gradually taken over but the game is still wide open & could go either way. N’tcham is playing poory and looks like the candidate to be first to be hooked. James shipped a couple of heavy tackles early on and hasn’t been as threatening as normal. My respect for Ajer just grows & grows, he has a huge future in the game.

    Hayley McQueen says,” Let’s see if Hibs can start the second half the way they started the first.” Hope springs eternal, Hayley. Why not say,”Let’s see if Celtic can start the second half the way they finished the first.”

     

     

    You can feel them willing on whoever our opposition is.

    NFL appears to he doing his best to dissuade Timo and Oli from staying….

    End of season game and attitude from some Celtic players that will delight the

     

    anybody but brigade.

     

     

    Imagine James Forrest among others being shot shy? and resorting to one pass too many, time and time again.

     

     

    Cup tie time fervour required and some shuffling of the pack.
