What do you think Monday morning QB means? Simple question, go, no dogding now.

Ref made a descsion, VAR correctly oveturns it, we move on.

  3. God bless all those poor kids tonight whose parents made the hard choice between squib’s and food, a tuff choice. Don’t worry the Catholic community will have a bring and buy sale to make sure their bellies won’t go empty.

    Yes and yes.

The former was, at root, a battle about the divine right of kings, a concept I have difficulty in accepting, though you might support. Both sides drew support from each side of the border. It wasn’t about Scotland v England.

The latter was about Scottish land owners evicting Scottish tenants, because sheep were more profitable. It was a process that had happened in England centuries earlier which Thomas Moore summed up as when ‘sheep ate men’. The Clearances weren’t about Scotland v England.

Bottom line here is that Scotland is not an oppressed nation in the way that Ireland was, no matter how much the cult imagine it is.

It is unimaginable that events such as the Ballymurphy massacre would have happened in Scotland.

To deny that is an insult to the victims.

I’ll take it as read you acknowledge the UK is not one country, you just pretend it to be.

You don’t know what ‘high level business experience’ (whatever that means) people on here have.

Irrespective, the logic of your position appears to be that no-one can judge a CEO unless they have said experience.

Which is really an argument against accountability. No-one can judge me as a bus driver after tearing off the top deck of the bus under a low bridge, they don’t have the relevant experience…

Apply the same logic to politics and you could dispense with democracy… no-one can judge Boris for all of his mendacity and malfeasance because they haven’t ever been PM etc, etc.

A nonsense position and not a very original one I’m sad to report. 😉

  8. Did VAR spot the Palestinian flag waiver in the Chelsea end? Thank God Israel didn’t. BOOM

Don’t be facetious you know where I’m coming from, Clancy could just as easily said everyone in the game knows what the stakes are, and they were high.

However, you PLB and others just can’t hide your disdane for Peter, you know that failed CEO who was in charge when we attained 13 Titles, 9 SC and 7 LC, included in this are a quadreble.

  15. SETTING FREE THE BEARS FOR RES. 12 & OSCAR KNOX on 16TH MAY 2021 12:47 AM

I predicted, and it was a fairly easy prediction, that the Huns would gather en masse today and that the police would enable themselves to be powerless to stop them. The media in this country, whilst basically saying this was not a good look, will add the caveat that they can understand the fans’ exuberance at winning a title after such a long time.

There will be enough high profile instances of fans arrested for violent offences that the police can say they did their job concentrating on the high profile offences. And no-one, not one single person, who organised, agitated or encouraged mass gatherings and marches will be touched. No-one wll be done for singing songs and they will use the excuse that they no longer have the OBaF Act behind them, to justify this.

I predicted this and it saddens me to see it come true. when Glasgow and neighbouring authorities have to endure staying in Level 3 or being placed back into it, we will blame plane travel from India nd not what happened today.

  16. “Given the largely peaceful nature of the crowd, it would not be proportionate for our resources to use a high level of force through public order policing to disperse those gathering. We have seen some disruption to traffic, but no long lasting disruption to our communities.”

Clink Once in a generation for the Huns. We won’t see another major trophy for a time.

*fully concur here, begging money every month tae pay the bills they truly are a busted flush, they will still be around but more of the late 70s early 80s version.

All sort of reasons have been given for this season, Lenny, PL, Covid, mitb, smsm etc, however it should be remembered that early on the nephew of Monsignor Clancy stated “the officials know what they have to do” and that’s it in a nutshell, they were going out of the game unless entry to the Big Cup was made available.

Just think of all those mitb’s who go off on jollys tae Europe, nae huns as they were known and their good life is over, similarly the other SPL teams know that as well so an easy passage tae the title is made available.

For all they are the “invincibles” they exited both domestic cups against teams they should never have seen in their road given their League form.

Like we celebrate Lisbon and 7-1 they’ll look back on this day and congregate singing “hullo hullo one in a row hullo hullo”

  18. Scotland would seem hapy enough to put up with yesterday’s OranjFest……

    any bams caught red-handed?

It won’t just be the rockets gettin’ let aff…………..

The Drongan Dragon an’ polis scoddland……………

    Scotland’s Shame.

    Aye!

  19. According to Shortie……..

Rainjurzitis is more important than Covid………..

    Aye.

  20. Nippy Sturgeon/the Scottish Government was quick enough to wade in with comments after Bolingoli and Dubai so she is free to address the following…………………

Without using the words “it was all Boris Johnson’s fault” can you make specific comment on the behaviour of Rangers supporters in Glasgow city centre on Saturday, and how the situation was allowed to arise in the first place ?

Perhaps she hasn’t seen or been briefed about the videos ………maybe she thinks it was understandable exuberance…………she may even believe “the gathering” will have a neutral impact on the Covid strategy.

She needs to stand in front of the camera and make unequivocal comment. The despicable and outrageous scenes from yesterday cannot – and should not – be somehow swept under the carpet as if it was no big deal.

  21. ….it’s auld news awready………….

they goat away wi’ it………….as predicted.

This was a “celebration” of thur kulchur.

  22. What is wi’ the huns and their peculiar definitions of largely common-place words…………?

    Liquidated?

    Invincible?

    Tax?

    Celebration?

    I blame the schools…….

    HHH.

  23. The shocking scenes from Glasgow yesterday were all too predictable.

Must admit, I couldn’t care less about any victims of hun on hun action. None of them should’ve been there.

However, there’s no doubt we’ll hear stories of innocent, non hun victims, who were caught up in it all. That’s the worry

    Scotland’s shame

  24. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has told his squad that he will leave at the end of this season. (Goal)

    Couldn’t be – could it?

  25. Good morning cqn from a lovely sunny morning in the Garngad

Off to watch the grandson play footy today to be frank it will be more enjoyable than watching celtic of late.

Adi – Some individual footed the bill for the last zombie fest, owner of The Louden. Paid GCC straight away.

Videos today and last night are shocking.

Why would a police commander want to put his staff through that after the last time.

Well I look forward to us having a massive party next year when we rest the league title back.

    Shoooooorly they couldnae say naw.
