Good morning from a dry but overcast Depok (Indonesia)
A hard fought 2nd half but overall very worthy winners. Kyogo? what can you say that not been said before? Wish I knew Japanse.
If the players Ange hopes to to bring in are of similar standard we are going to have some end to the season.
What a difference Ange has made to this “Team” in 5/6 month. Last season we had a bunch of individuals who were only looking to “get out of Dodge”. This season we have 20 odd Musketeers “All for one, one for all etc etc).
Glad to see many Tricolours being waved in support of Liam Scales, nice gesture ;-)))
Oh, before I go, here in Indonesia Holland is know as Belanda. You can now refer to our orange wearing neighbours as ” Bellend Belanders” similar to us being known as plastic Ps

Great result. Big congrats to them all but a special mention for Ange and Kyogo.
I though Greg Taylor was immense – full of energy and endeavour and becoming a real attacking force.
Mikey Johnston should not be loaned out, he just needs really good coaching on his final product where he is. He is really brave at taking on his man directly and we don’t have too many of them – Mikey on the right and Jota on the left could be devastating. Once Mikey has a better end product his confidence will rise and he’ll become even better. I think he’s an Ange type player. Hopefully Ange can develop him.
Just a word about Starfelt – generally he was good and doesn’t deserve the dog’s abuse he gets even on here.. Everyone makes mistakes. A defended can’t win all his duels no matter who he plays for and in which league. He got turned over by Nisbet, who lots of Celtic fans wanted to buy, and perhaps still do. He is one of the best in the SPFL. Sometimes his trickery will get the better of even the best defenders. Starfelt will learn from his mistakes. Big Joe was poor for their goal – pretty static – but he saved us in the end. You can make a similar comment about Starfelt – he wasn’t defined by his “defeats”.
Good morning all Tim’s around the globe from a happy, clappy Garngad
Only 1 team that can do a treble now.
We move onto another tricky league game away to the Buddies.
Whatever happens with covid and players the show must go on, unfortunately if the Buddies or indeed we have to play youth players. The game must be played.
Another 3 points will put the only cup winners of the season in a good position going into new year.

Hello again all you young rebels
From a very warm but gloriously happy Melbourne.
What a fantastic weekend of singing, dancing and all the joyful
moments that come from being a member of the Celtic family.
Our Christmas CSC lunch and drinks in the Dubliner was attended
again by members of the Jock Stein club who travelled down the
coast road from St Kilda CSC to make it a packed out pub.
A great result from our bhoys on the park capped off a great
weekend.
Big Ange getting rave reviews here on all the news channels, but
don’t like the comments about him heading for the EPL
Suppose we can expect that.
Big Jimmy hope you had a great birthday.

What Health Secretary says must be hammered home. 10% (5m+) of the population shun the vaccine and occupy 90% of Covid-related hospital beds. This leaves many thousands of people with heart trouble, cancer & other serious illness unable to access life-saving treatment.
This is inhumane – these vaccine nay-sayers must be left to fend for themselves – they cannot be, on the one hand, totally irresponsible, and on the other, be first in the queue for hospital treatment when their stupidity & selfishness causes them to be infected. It’s time to ‘take the gloves off’ with these people.
Anti-vaxxers cannot have it both ways. They are condemning the needy in society to painful death.

Proud to be a Celtic mhan this morning.
First one in the bag for the Blessed Ange and long may the success continue.
l have followed my team since 1957 thru good and bad, yesterday was superb.
Shortbread radio for some reason decided not to broadcast a sports report., within the 8am broadcast, their hurt is so obvious rather like their brothers who currently referee our games so poorly.
The morning after the first trophy of the season and it feels good.
Dust having settled I’m hoping Carl Starfelt, a player I like, is reflecting on his performance. He has great performances in him but he has yet to show the consistency or CCV amd to be honest He will do well to get a game ahead of Stephen Welsh who has the potential to be our first choice CB in the not too distant future.
Wednesday is now the big game. 3 points up for grabs.
St mirren will fancy it against a tired celtic. We need to keep pushing on.
Whoever does the sports massages at CP I’d going to be the busiest person at the club until 2nd January. Play. Recover. Repeat. Focus. Focus Focus.
I will Text you when I can access my Mobile or when I buy a new one this week.
I hope that you enjoyed your wee Bevvy watching The Celts lifting another Cup ?

Welsh will be back in on Wednesday night, due to Starfelts suspension.
As there is no sign of Julien coming back soon. This position is Welshs for the taking , as far as I’m concerned.
As for MJ. Will be 23 next April. So as that might be young in CQN years. It’s not in football years. Loan out for 6 months and see if he changes his ways.

he Famine was a disaster of major proportions, even allowing for statistical uncertainty as to its estimated effect on mortality. Yet the Famine occurred in a country that, despite concurrent economic problems, was at the center of a still-growing empire and an integral part of the acknowledged workshop of the world. There can be no doubt that, despite a short-term cyclical depression, the resources of the United Kingdom could have either completely or largely mitigated the consequences of consecutive years of potato blight in Ireland.
Within Ireland itself there were substantial resources of food that, had the political will existed, could have been diverted, even as a short-term measure, to feed the starving people. The policy of closing ports during periods of shortages in order to keep home-grown food for domestic consumption had on earlier occasions proved to be effective in staving off famine within Ireland. During the subsistence crisis of 1782–84, an embargo was placed on the export of foodstuffs from the country. The outcome of this humanitarian and imaginative policy was successful. The years 1782–84 are barely remembered as years of distress. By refusing to allow a similar policy to be adopted in 1846–47, the British government ensured that Black ’47 was indelibly associated with suffering, famine, mortality, emigration, and to some, misrule.

Everyone else ignored the Taylor claim but gave a lot of attention to the Starfelt ‘push’.
I am not in any way, a betting man, but, I bet the Scoddish Government will impose a ban on social gatherings, including football games just prior to us playing the scum lot in January, wonder why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting too that there was no Sportscene last night on the beeb, funny that.
