Definitely felt CCV was sloppier than Liam but too many good players to bother about a couple of under pars
My top 3 were:-
Calmac- Dominating
Kuhn- a great 60 minutes
Taylor- shored up the midfield throughout
McPhail Bhoy on
Great start, great goals, 3 points

Now look, that is a good result at the start of the season.
We’ve struggled there before in recent times
Hibs have good players but not a good team, think they will improve though.
If not we wont be going back again this season
Lets see how both teams compare next Sunday at Celtic Park

Adam Idah was invisible.
Brendan the Invincible Man’s Celtic, blew away a poor Hibs side with two fine goals that could have been four or more. Matt O’Riley romped the full game, in which we looked rightfully miles ahead of the Edinburgh poor relations. MacGregor, Kuhn, Forrest were faster and fitter, and the scoreline flattered the home side. Reo Hatate needs to work more with a ball now, that the rest of his game is restored . Nick Walsh allowed way too much leeway in the home tackling, and the second half showed Hibs could only get better. Lack of finish with the game won, saw the second half fizzle out, BR spread his attackers and Kyogo playing superbly in the BBC’s ‘ Larsson,…. nearly off side role ‘ was less than clinical throughout.

Things you won’t hear on the uk state broadcaster.
Despite the millions spent on our elite and privileged team of often privately school educated Olympians Britain returned fewer golds than in any games since Athens 2004. It also finished in its lowest position since then in the medal table in 7th.

Good first 10 minutes at Pittodrie. Hoping for a draw to keep Celtic clear on points and relegate the Huns to 5th.

Do you really think signing a striker is not a priority for Rodgers and others.
McGregor brilliant today. O’Riley showed his brilliance in flashes.
Back 4 also mostly dominant and composed on the ball.
Kuhn and Kyogo looked dangerous.
Hatate looked well off it and he’s normally one of my favourites.
Having Kyogo as our only striker is likely pushing the price of Idah up. We should have got our 3rd striker/development signing in by now so we don’t look/aren’t as desparate in the transfer market.
Up against a better team our half back line would have been under severe pressure, I’m reluctant to name individual players but there is 2 who really don’t have competition, as for the shortage of strikers ,it’s obvious this board need to release plenty cash to sort out this problem,

Well done Liam Scales- saved us there after Bernardo slipped on the ball
—————
Can’t believe Scales getting it right on here and the commentator just said Hibs didn’t have a shot on target.
2 games, 2 wins and 2 clean sheets!
Also scored last week from a corner, which we never do.
What more can he do? 😳🤷🏼♂️😂🍀⚽️🏆🇮🇪
Brilliant, sloppy and comfortable 90mins.
Thank you Brendan and your bhoys.
**getting it tight not right
Good win.
HH
Bit worrying in 2nd half. Imo, Scales will be out of his depth in Europe.
Anyway, thank you, Celtic for getting the right result.
Brilliant in parts , profligate in parts , lax in parts . Job done though and result never in doubt .
well done celtic.
Could have had 4 or 5 today . Still increased our goal difference over the hun though .
I didn’t think scales was bad at all. For me midfield and forward play really too sloppy.
Well done Celtic.
The last 15 minutes or so were rather scrappy due to changes and stoppages.
Mikey Johnston thru the middle ?……Not the answer.
Get ADAM IDAH in !
LOL

Thought Scales played well…

Not sure what lawwell has to do with anything.
Got the points, that is all that matters.
some good performances, remember, it was a very hot day in Enbra..
Kyogo needs protection big time, will not get it from the refs for sure
MOM, Calmac, Taylor and Khun, thought Maeda was good too
3 points, no goals conceded, what’s not to like

HH Mate.
Don’t like saying this as I am most definitely a happy clapper, but sadly, Hatate was crap.
Very pleased to keep another clean sheet which we often struggled to do last season.
Brilliant first half, should have been 3 or 4 nil.
Excellent first half with some lovely passing and moving from the team
However the team that finished the game with guys like Yang and Mikey (Always injured) Johnston just shows how poor our back ups are.
Let’s hope the absentee landlord gives his minions a few £ to play with for being good with the cash so far…
