  1. For a professional player to say that against his team is really naive at best, that could have cost us 2 points today, no chance it was clear, it hit his shoulder, McFadden said it hit his hand, nothing on the boot to Engels face or Bushiri heading Yang, MON mentioned nothing, laughed joked and played the Old Guy role.

  2. Rangers have lashed out at the state of refereeing in Scottish football in the wake of their 3-1 League Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic on Sunday.

the same ref who was our ref today.

  3. you’ve got to feel for Nancy – has there ever been a manager who has taken over a team who have already had their new manager bounce?

  4. Great result at the end of a really heavy week

Very smart play in the first half, our midfield looked in control. After we came under some pressure and conceded I thought Calmac showed great game management, slowed it down, and changed the momentum.

We were always going to have to defend well at the end, too many tired legs after Thursday meant we weren’t going to pose much of a threat but we didn’t give up many clear chances.

A fantastic and important 8 days.

  5. St Andrew’s Day has always been a washout in Scotland. Time for a reboot to commerate today’s victory in Auld Reekie and for all his trajectory and rename it Saint Martin’s Day.

Written into the Celtic story again MON takes pride of place with a new chapter into eternity. Hibs didn’t have a chance, the legacy was cast in Rotterdam. O’Neill had already banished old spirits Feyenoord, Kindvall, Israel’s, Jansen et all. Bread and butter pragmatism gave Celtic all three points in the capital today, we tired in the second half, but both radical and subtle changes in format, have kick started our season.

MON shuffled the pack and set it out differently benching players signed in summer, and using what he already had, to better effect. The rest is just magic dust, that only certain Celtic people have. Th story did move, on and only MON could have handed Wilfried Nancy the golden keys to Paradise, on a plate, such as this.

What an act to follow the page turns again on Wednesday, whenever he heads back to the King’s Rd there may be a tear in his coffee, his place in Celtic reserved for all time.

Phoned by a friend he’s had ‘the time of his life’ no bad at 73.

  7. And some wonder why we can’t get players signed, the shambles with the manager, Dearie Me, brewery and p1ss up spring to mind.

As it is, I would hope that MoN stays till the hun game at least, that would be some send off with a win.

  8. Great win today guys put in a shift to keep Hibs at bay.

Just a pit we couldn’t get a 3rd in the first half to kill the game.

Based on recent experience, McGrath a straightforward red card as he booted Arne in the face and that big diddy Bashiri a straightforward red card for nutting Yang.

Big Tony is going a brutally rough patch at the moment, he just can’t keep the opposition away from the goal.

  9. Great weekend results wise….definitely not a penalty for me ….at the beginning of this week if someone had said you’ll win all 3 away games ..I’d have said you’re on drugs

  10. Watched end of the Huns game , dire stuff .

A couple of soft free kicks kicks to launch ball in up area .

That awkward moment the Huns have no one left to boo.

  11. and so it begins ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Absolutely awful from Rangers again. He’s working with a squad that is not near the level to compete, but questions need to be asked about Rohl’s tactics and player choices. Baffling at times.

  12. Saint Andrew’s Day (Scots: Saunt Andra’s Day, Scottish Gaelic: Là Naomh Anndrais / Latha Naomh Anndra) is Scotland’s official national day. It has been a national holiday in Romania since 2015. He is the patron saint of Cyprus, Scotland, Greece (City of Patras), Romania, Russia, Ukraine, the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople,[2] San Andres Island (Colombia), Saint Andrew (Barbados), Tenerife (Spain), and Chamoson (Switzerland).

  13. The Bears den will be good.

    Till later all.

A good day for us,thank you Martin Shaun and your bhoys.

  14. We’ll have the same issues with Nancy. I hope not but I have a feeling this won’t work out! I hate managers who over elaborate and communicate. Keep it simple!

  15. Never realised that the draw for the 4th round of the Scottish Cup is later on this evening, will be on Sportscene and BBCi player, and probably round 8.00pm, cant see it being at the start of the show.

Hoping for a home draw, in the main because, like the LC it is easier to get tickets and there is usually good atmosphere. Some surprises in there, Cove Rangers would have a certain attraction, and for the likes of Camelon and Auchinleck a trip to Celtic Park would be something else.

  16. lets all do the huddle on

i also hope for a home draw so all the folk that stayed in the home cup ticket scheme will get ‘rewarded’ for it. 😁

i wonder how many of those same folk actually want a home draw though?

    i reckon a large % dont.

no home draws so dont get charged any money, but get in the ‘ballot’ for a semi and final if we get there.

the plc will be dying for home draws to get the cash from the hcts-ers.

it is a massive racket 🎾

  17. lets all do the huddle on

though from what i have heard from hibs fans over the years, they had a scheme (and maybe still do) whereby you could pay extra cash for your season ticket, and that also then paid for any home cup games that you might get drawn.

it means obviously that if they didnt get any home cup draws they had lost money.

    so it was basically gambling.

unlike our hcts where you dont pay unless we get a home draw.
