    nfl got it so right today – well done. RFC are gone, Hertz are in dire trouble, others are struggling and lennie, the board, the players, us just got on with it. Brilliant. Every double is special but considering the context, this one was one of the most important imho.

    James Forrest has had a horrendous season with injuries. When he has played he has suffered as the manager has seen fit to put him straight back into the team when on a lot of occasions he hasn’t looked ready. Today was a case in point and in addition was played totally out of position, a position that Broonie usual plays as the right side of a middle three.

     

    Hopefully we see him back fit and raring to go in July.

    When we win like that we don’t have to lose any sleep over it

     

    I did not wish to completely thrash Hibs (any more than 3 goals )so it was all good .

    A good team performance today, Stokes clearly playing for a new contract put in a power of work, a wee bit selfish a couple of times but excellent contribution. Commons showed what playing in the hole really means, Forrest could / should learn much from him as he did hee haw. Brown ran the show in midfield but spoiled things slightly with a stupid booking.

     

     

    I’d have liked to have seen us step up the pressure from the start of the 2nd half and ripped

     

    Hibs apart to really finish the season in style but always next year.

    Well done the bhoys. Great feeling walking back to the car beside so many contented Tims. All season I have been saying we need to get to the bye line more and cross the ball. Well it certainly worked today. Thought Brownie was superb.

    I texted earlier on this morning was not sure to go out or not. Live in a Hun Toon i.e. Carlisle. Went to the Irish bar met a load of lads from Dumbarton Timalloys each and everyone. If any of you read this thanks bhoys you made my day. And also the big lad from Ayrshire and his family. Fantastic and hail hail.

    That was great. Was lucky enough to pick up a ticket from the Leven Celtic Supporters bus and was in the International bar for 1:30.

     

     

    How good would it have been if that big Celtic balloon thing got away from the wee guys holding it. It’d have made a lot of people in the city happy and some less so !

     

     

    Did anyone else see the supporters club who had hired the Boogie Bus for the trip today ? Poledancing, strobes and a jukebox in their vehicle, surely that type of bus is the future for Celtic travel.

     

     

    Best laugh was the hurting zombie walking up Aikenhead Road as the Celtic party made it’s way down the way. I’ve seldom seen a more contorted angry wee face.

    Great atmosphere,great game,both sets of fans warmly applauding their heroes… marvelous….football rivalry at itse best…. celtic fans warmingly applauding the hibs team at the end…..none of the “hello hello” stuff excellent day……hope all hibees have a good night….seee you next year
