I thought Pukki played well and is beginning to find his feet. 0-4 flatters us but who cares,I thought Sammi was poor big Fraser brilliant but my MOM goes to Kris Commons. H.H.

FT 4-0.
Scoreline a bit rough on Hibs. Big Virgil’s goal changed the game for us. Lot’s of positive things to take from the game. Big Fraser reminds us that he is a class keeper. Virgil shows there is no end to his talent. Kris get’s another 2 goals. Pukki changed the game with a hard working 45 mins capped off with a stunning finish and a debut for our new Bhoy. The winning run continues as does the clean sheet record. Marvelous all round.

Hibs had the better of that for much of the game but class of Forster, VVD and Commons got us through with goals and clean sheet. Brilliant.

A terrible mix up by the Hibs defence for the opening goal. A dubious award of a free kick for number two, poor goalkeeping by Williams for the third and a silly challenge for the penalty.
Hibs should have had a penalty and Fraser Forster saved Celtic
That`s the shortbread view of the match. It may be right, of course. :-)

Have to say that for most of the second half the young Hibs players were best, then Virgil decided to take a shot.

Sloppy middle third and thank God we have a good keeper for such lapses. Actually thought Virgil was quite slack today but what a lovely goal. Pukki still has a long way to go to convince me but I thought that was, by a distance, his best display for us. And a brilliant goal- striker takes it early really reduces keeper’s chances of saving.
Big Fraser does what he does so well, kept us in the game when weren’t playing well, worth his weight in points the Big Mahn, well played Darnell Fisher today, did what a full back is supposed to do, all day long..
Kris Commons on fire! Pukki very good 45!

4-0 flattered us a bit. Fraser F. saved us at 1-0, then up stepped VvD.
Any scouts watching would not have been impressed by Sami, but mightily impressed by VvD. If we do have to sell this guy – and I hope he’s with us for the next CL campaign – then Celtic should cash in big time and get a lot more than we got for Big Victor.
I despair when I see Mulgrew and Ledley starting together. But Neil knows best, presumably.
I thought the defence stopped passing the ball in the second half and opted to punt the ball up the park too much. But another clean sheet. Well done, the Bhoys.
Andy Walker is a Celt bumped into him Seville, have you heard him? does that mean we need to take is comment as such. Give me peace! How many ex Celt’s are they in the media compared to huns,or does he need to please the employers.
He’s a warmer to me no gut’s or conviction. To hell with him.

First half we were very neat and tidy without looking powerful.
Sammi Joe & NIR showed up best in first 35 mins.
Strangely not so neat and tidy second half (NIR missing?). Poor possession added to by hibs upping their game, being more physical. It did mean not only our defence and FF had to work hard but that hibs would be more exposed at the back. And so it proved.
Well contained performance, two young players on from the start, three new players on by the end.
Good effort!

Shortbread outdoing even themselves today. Craig Paterson even attempting to change the rules by telling us Sammi would have been offside AFTER the hand ball.
I’ve been saying for years that I used to sing his name loud and loved the guy in the hoops but once he got into the media he turned out out like the rest …. Its a shame

Pukki involved from the moment he went on winning free kicks, keeping the ball and running off the hibs defenders with clever movement.. involved in the 3 goals and made a big contribution IMO. Hibs had to have a go when 1 down, they are at home and fair play to them for the chances they created but FF does what we pay him to do. Seen a few salt’n’sauce derbies this year and think if Hibs had a proper finisher they would be top 4 contenders. They have some decent players and work hard. However, it’s all about us and the hooped juggernaut rolls on.
Superb performance again from Celtic and not a failure in a fine team effort. With the advantage secured early as usual NFL was able to sacrifice Biton and play a more attacking format which let us run out, easy winners.
A class performance and a superb save from Fraser Forster, pleased that Pukki scored delighted NFL knows his players and format and once again got the team selection spot on.
Black marks as usual to the absurdly biased SKY commentary, and studio analysis.
Let’s not get carried away with this talk of Virgil being great, that’s only one, half decent performance this season, and let’s be honest he fluked the goal!
I’m fed up of this clean sheet situation. Never before can I remember being so nervous at 4-0 up with a couple of minutes to go. I was chewing my nails during that last Hibs attack.
I thought that Zoubir looked quite useful, particularly bearing in mind he was performing like that against the best defence in the country…

VVD MoM for me, closely followed by FF. KC did well too. Sammi was…..well….just pash.
Hibs unfortunate to lose by 4 but thats Fitba.
What game were you guys watching?
Virgil was gash.
He’ll need another 3 or 4 seasons in the hoops to convince me :)
Good to see Pukki get something for all the effort he puts in.
Big Fraser show his class, especially after having so little to do..
Commons is just class, get touch, strong and has vision to make the telling pass.
Fisher had another decent game and Izzy defended well today against a decent Hibs tream.
Sammi lost it after about 20 mins, needs to be the big fish in a smaller pond.

Goal keeper in makes a few saves shocker.
VvD not good enough for the Dutch national team. They have five world-class defenders who are far superior – allegedly.
