  1. 50 shades of green on

    LAMBERT14 on 16TH DECEMBER 2018 3:38 PM

Today was a day that showed up the Lawwell summer window disgrace.

Selling Dembele without a replacement, no right back for a past it Lustig. no John MCginn type dig in midfield,

    Not replacing Armstrong or Paddy.

The CEO at Celtic is Sevcos main hope to stop us winning the league.

PS Just popping in to post as gave up on the site for awhile because of the pop ups.

    @@@@@-@

Ffs even the pop ups urnae dayin their job the day…

Paul we need stronger pop ups.

“I think he means selected or not, but you already know that?”

You credit me with too much insight.

I really did not understand the sentence as written.

We can, very much, afford, Scott Sinclair to be unselected at the moment. We might, however, think differently, in January or in the summer when his contractual situation can be changed but the only choice we have at present is to put him on or off the field.

I am not one for knee-jerk punting of players (and welcome back those of you have joined in today for the first time since September when we dropped 3 to Killie) but Scott has had a long time to recover the form of his first 18 months with us. It is not happening so, for his good and ours, he may need a fresh challenge. The left wing position was always a big issue for us between the era of Thompson & McGeady until Sinky arrived. I would be happy to give Morgan and Johnston a chance to establish there for the rest of the season and thank SS for his services and wish him the best at anew club closer to his family.

  3. BURGHBHOY on 16TH DECEMBER 2018 4:11 PM

Agree with those points. Rodgers flufffed it today but he’s trying to put square pegs in round holes with those formations. Too much reliance also on Edouard, we’re now paying the price for punting Moussa and not replacing him and for not investing in a replacement for Lustig. Between Lawwell and Rodgers they’ve reduced us from untouchable to a vulnerable, fragile looking team.

Two people who take great delight in Celtic not winning :-)

    Thankfully … domestically it’s only happened 7 out of 114 games :-)

Do you ever have anything positive to say about Celtic?

Do you read my posts … Celtic were garbage today … Cheerleader ? Don’t get that … I am pretty willing to slag our players when they deserve it

But my glass will always be half full

Looking forward to drawing Seville tomorrow around 12pm

  7. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

This is where those two points we threw away at Motherwell come back to haunt you. There will always be the odd game where you are just off your game and don’t deserve to win. When you throw away points in games you should win comfortably it’s inexcusable.

Issues to be resolved re squad depth/quality in January.

Until then we need to find a way of winning games and keeping bodies healthy.

    What’s the story with Rogic?

Bloody awful day at the office. We made Hibs look like Barcelona.

But on here – ‘sack Brendan and get Steve Clarke in to sort out this mess’?

    Good God almighty.

  10. Outplayed, outfought and out thought in two successive games.

The league is going to be closer than it should be.

No interest because Rapid went through ?

Knockout stages of Europe could entice better players to “our” club, canny understand any Celtic fan having no interest in Celtic :-)

  12. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Ernie

Surely the league being “closer” is a good thing ? If we were miles ahead am pretty sure the moaners would be moaning about it being too easy …

Good to see you posting about the fitba :-)

It’s just a one off though, bad day at the office, one of those days

    —————–

It’s only a good thing if the other teams were getting better, when that’s quite clearly not the case.

  15. For all Brendan had a very bad day at the office, imo he will do everything he possibly can to make sure slippy and his band of huns do not win the league, he won’t find it as easy as it’s been till now, they have the cheats with the whistles gearing up for the run in, we need our better players fit that is clear, the games we have played or had to play the second string we have come unstuck.

I very much doubt that there will be much in coming in the window, we are gonna have to do it with what we have, our biggest problem is we have too big a drain in the wages dept, we need to shift a fair few but they are not going to move cos we are paying them far too much to sit in our reserves, thankfully this is something that Brendan can’t get the blame for.

Am no board lover … but who would you have on the board to make it better ??

    Dave King ?

    Sir dodgy Dave ?

    Charlie Green ?

    Craighy Whyte ?

    Give me some options

  17. ernie lynch

Pretty sure BR knew that before some of the posters on here.

They queued up to bemoan how we wouldn’t get past the two Red Bull’s but forget to

    post when we have.

  18. Knockout stages of Europe could entice better players to “our” club, canny understand any Celtic fan having no interest in Celtic :-)

would that be players of the quality of OE,ON or would that be JH etc.

  19. GERRYFAETHEBRIG, anyone because all they seem to do is sit on there arses and praise sevco because they say they are rangers which if truth be told they are not

  20. Gerryfaethebrig on

Steven Gerrards “men” go top of the league (SSB)

Remember it’s the hope that kills them ….

Am pretty confident Brendan will collect his 8th trophy, why the confidence …. 8 out of 114 is a decent domestic record

  21. Gerryfaethebrig on

They are still the same Huns to me

    Once a Hun always a Hun :-)

Liquidation doesn’t change the mindset… they enjoy cheating

  22. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Danso

They are still Rangers in my eyes … Sevco is a laugh, they stole, they cheated, they got caught … not one Hun has ever acknowledged their cheating … total joke

They are on our midst to be mocked and I can assure you my smile mocks them all … I would love you to be a Celtic fan but I don’t think you are but your input is greatly appreciated:-) o would never go on a Hun forum

  23. Never saw the game today but it sounds like it was terrible. Hard to believe we are the same club who played so brilliantly last Saturday.

  24. GERRYFAETHEBRIG, i cannot convince you but i assure you i am no hun somthing i am not so sure about our board its the still rangers that gives them there arrogance and you are just feeding it

  25. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Danso

    Fair play

Their arrogance is nurtured in the home

Celtic going for 8 trophies and a wee EL last 32 draw tomorrow … life is good

  26. I don’t expect Hibs to lie down when they play Sevco on Wednesday but I don’t think the cheat with the whistle will be warning them after fouls they’ll be carded straight away like Broony today. I doubt that game will finish with 11 Hibees

  27. DREW 0 – 0 LIVINGSTON ON NOVEMBER 11TH 2018.

    WON 3 – 0 HAMILTON ON NOVEMBER 24TH 2018.
