Often, what you want to post 4 minutes after a defeat differs greatly than after 4 hours.
Glad I waited (spared you my ranting drivel).
Bad performance, symptomatic of flat Decembers since BR arrived. Ridiculously early starts to the season and too many games in autumn is the price of success.
Past two seasons though this flatness has been mitigated by adequate summer transfer windows and a flying start to the league.
Not so this year.
3 home games in January after the break.
Think I’ll take stock after them.
If we are not top of the league I may even start to worry.

Onguene dominated our players and looked a cut above a guy like Jozo who cost more.
Believe he is French and was sold to German club for more than Salzburg paid due to indifferent form in Germany.
My point is they seem to get far greater value from their coaching and scouting

the pairing of SB and ON was our downfall at the start of this season and only when they both were injured and out of the team did we up our game to a high tempo, quick forward passing team , now that they are back in the team we have returned to that start of season play , a big January transfer window coming up for BR , better get it right.
This is a common misconception as Nt’cham played the full game when we turned it around with a 6-0 thrashing of St Johnstone.

This is a common misconception as Nt’cham played the full game when we turned it around with a 6-0 thrashing of St Johnstone.
Nt’cham and McGregor anchored the midfield and we played Griff and Edouard up front.
This gave us a more balanced side and freed up space for Rogic and McGregor to work due to both strikers runs creating space.
Our present lack of strikers due to our profit first mantra is limiting selection and tactical options.
There are many reasons for our struggles.
FAVOURITE UNCLE on
But why oh why is it not obvious to our coaching staff that our set piece tactics are simply dreadful? Before Hibs second goal, Izzy feinted languidly as if he was going to take a free kick. It fooled nobody, and even worse, he stayed upfield. Ayer, Jozo and Benkovic were all in a position for a cross. What does Ntcham do? Stupidly whacks it off the wall with no one behind him except Brown. Prime exhibition of zero football intelligence.
The passing routine from Gordon to the defence has to stop.

Not happy.
Not for the first time over the past 2 seasons we have given Hibs a leg up be it home or away.
Lets be clear we should NOT consider them as having any relationship with Celtic,as over the years they have not been supportive on many matters
This is the team who had half a stand empty rather than sell to Celtic, add to that the ” closing down ” they were allowed to put us under with a flexible interpretation of rules by the incompetent Referee, fresh from his last oversight.
Nchamp and Edouard are not hungry fighters, another pair playing as if they are passing through, and of course Scott Sinclair very poor.
Compare and contrast to Christie who for the past 5/6 games transformed us by his urgency,we need more like him with his attitude, not please, more tourists.
Lets wait and see if Hibs apply the same level of intensity on Wednesday,or are allowed to.

It’s important not to fall into the Celtic plc trap that has everyone benchmarking against Sevco. That is what Lawwell does and that’s why he’s not fit for purpose.
Today we were abject. This season we’ve dropped 15 points after 16 matches having only won 3 out of 9 away. It is nowhere near good enough for a club of our resources.
We should set our own standard, if we do that as we have done in the past we would be miles ahead. This season has been a calamity from where we ended last season. The Chief Executive and the Board failed to support the double treble winning Manager, undermined him and left him with a weaker squad by Brendan Rodgers own admission. A completely unacceptable situation. In fact it’s worse than unacceptable, it’s scandalous.
Lawwell is culpable, he has been negligent and complacent. He lacks the necessary vision or ambition to take the Club beyond the Sevco dystopia. The Board are simply happy to cash in on the bigot buck, the nett effect of which will be to drag us back to our opponents. Lawwell needs to go and he can take most of his Board colleagues with him.
