  1. Reality is we were shapeless ,purposeless and generally all over the place.

How many of that His squad are good enough for us?

Our very own tinkerman failing on the away stage again.

  2. Thought we were in for a difficult match today when I seen our line up.

Will be amazed if we don’t change formation at halftime.

Hoping it will be a different looking Celtic second half

  3. Half Time 1 – 0

Bizarre positional changes with a completely reshuffled side without Tierney, Lustig, Rogic, Christie.

Back three struggling big time from the K.O. too late because Hibs ran amok in the opening exchanges

and we’re lucky to be a goal down

    Tactical disaster so far.

  4. N’tcham,JF , Benkovic and SS sporadically only one’s to show up so far.

Feel for Ed who has had no service.

  5. Utterly woeful first half

Drop Emilio back to a 4, Put SS on the left and JF on the right.

We have nothing on the bench, this team will have to dig this one out.

Formation 100% not working and as per Thursday Brendan has been slow to change

Move Forrest to right and Sinclair to left and at least Forrest can provide some defensive cover and Sinclair can take Efe on

I cant believe how slow Brown is since he has come back from injury,,,painful to watch

As poor as we have been this season. Brown will get sent off, no doubt about that. Side look clueless and rudderless. The bench uninspiring. We can’t be as bad in the second half surely…

  8. Craig Gordon will get less abuse from the Hibs fans in second half. Announcing 2 min injury time and he’s poncing about at a snails pace. Get rid.

We’ll still win if show any interest as Hibs defence is almost as bad as ours.

Tactical disaster is right. Looking like 3 away wins from 9. Not championship winning form. Really not good enough.

  10. BR teams selection/line up a shambles ,just as i predicted KA is never a right back , SB is not the type of player we require far to slow in thought and mind , ON give us the same problem as SB,

why decide today to play SS and JF on other wings when we had plenty games before to try this when we were winning, OE is isolated up from on his own , get CMcG back into centre mid and LM on and get back to a back 4.

Take Brown off for Morgan, drop Calum back into the deeper role and let him run the game. Put Morgan on the left against Whittaker. Forrest needs to be on the right and get SS playing up and around Edouard who is isolated.

    =================================================================

    Sounds like a plan.

  12. Bad start to the game but we slowly worked our way back into it. Jams and SS are both doing well out wide but Ed is too isolated up front because we have Brown, Ntcham and Callum all way too deep. The issues we had were down to both full-backs being caught too far up the park, but this was fixed as we settled into the game. Brendan will surely make some adjustments at half time. It’s a decent game, Hibs started well but really didn’t threaten us after first 10 mins. I expect us to grind out a win here.

“just as i predicted KA is never a right back “..hes not playing RIght back.

Hes playing as a 3 mad defence and there in lies the problem. We havent played 3 at the back succesfully since Balde, Valharen and Stan.

Ajer should play as RB in the second half with Emilio making the back 4

  14. A goal conceded within 60 seconds is a surefire way of giving confidence to an already fired-up Hibs team.

We gradually inched our way back into this match but still look just as likely to concede their 2nd before we get our equaliser.

I cannot see the tactical reason for the Sinclair/ Forrest switch other than it being an attempt to provide a struggling player (SS) with a new challenge to kick start his return to confidence. Thankfull, James has not been too much affected but it has not yet had the desired effect on Sinky.

A lot of our ball is having to be directed to Izzy as an outlet because he is less closely marked. This seems to be a deliberate ploy by NFL & Hibs to draw him forwrd knowing he does not get back quickly to help the defence. This is how the first goal was scored.

Finally, our throw in retention remains weak. To my eyes, it looks like only N’tcham has any sort of success rate in shielding a ball after a throw in. We need two more to step up to his level.

Thankfully, we are only one goal down and that is a fair reflection of the play. We can turn this around but we need to knock Hibs confidence first.

  15. This place astounds me Faithful thro and through Yea right.

It’s as bad as the folk around us at celtic park. Entitlement CFC or what ?
