Hibs are above Celtic for good reason

419

The next 19 days sees Celtic in action against Hearts twice, Leipzig twice, Hibs (tomorrow) and Dundee, the latter the only prosaic occasion among them.  How we negotiate this period will go a long way to determine our domestic and European season.

Brendan will almost certainly rest Tom Rogic after his midweek trip to Kuwait but with five days until we face Leipzig, I expect a full strength team for the visit of Neil Lennon’s side.

Hibs are above us in the league for a reason, they have lost only twice this season (once domestically and once in Europe) and have the best goal difference in the league.  They did very well home and away against us last season and Neil will ensure his team have no concerns about visiting Celtic Park this term.

The players know the scale of the challenge ahead, which should bring the best out of them.  A sneaky feeling we might end the weekend top of the league too.

Tomorrow however it’s about the football. My best friend (although he doesn’t know it yet) wee Jamsie to score another 4 goals aided and abetted.

JimtheTim53. Does St Pats band still practice in the hall behind Agness Grays sweet shop, across from Jessons butchers shop. Another question is Lansdowne Crescent, where I was born, still standing.

Yep, probably best…in ul Sw Jana, as Coneybhoy says, just off the Rynek. If ex…pat Celt is still living in Kraków he’ll know better. Enjoy yourself in the best little city outside Glasgow. Going back in November and then again in January. Time DD got himself across there to connect with his Polish roots.

  12. Jamesgang-9:09,seen it before,big billy taking charge ?

    But still absolutely brilliant ?

  13. GORDYBHOY 64-going to see a tribute billy Joel tomorrow night,Hamilton ,tickets still available ?

  14. SpringhillBhoy, You have the benefit on me about the sweet shop. But I remember Jessons, my mother shopped there. Landsdowne Cresc. is still alive and thriving. I wish I knew how to pass photos from my phone to this site. The guy who owns the Brandy is a lovely helpful guy. I will get him to sort it for me. I will post lots of lovely pictures.

Only problem I have with the music links / posts, especially in a Friday, is that it is impossible to keep up.

Almost every link, is good, and a big % is exceptional.

Some are totally new to me….and educational…..while entertaining at the same time.

This has been my problem with CQN for a decade now.

    I can’t keep .up!

Anyway, here’s a Friday night salutation to all who have posted here in the past 10 years…..

    The ones who have died.

    The ones who have left.

The ones who are still here.

I …I….think this sums this place up..
