Comfortable first half but we need to take our chances… Slamming having a quiet one..
Pretty dire first half from us, even worse from Helsinki. As I said in the last match, we should have been out of sight long ago. A good half-time talk needed. In Lenny we trust.

We MUST get a goal or they will be content to wait for their one chance and they will get one.
Celtic have had 3 chances and scored no goals. This needs to be addressed.
Good effort from the team but Broonie should definitely have scored.

Celtic by far the better team – but Helsinki have had a couple of dangerous chances.
Obviously I’d feel much more relaxed if we could get that first goal as 1-0 to them puts us out.

oh man, its going to be a nervous 2nd half…. good performance from the bhoys though. Just missing that finishing touch.
Sammi and Commons doing well…. Matthews and Izzy a worry in defence at times.
No cutting edge….impotent in front of goal. Very frustrating considering we have been in control for the most part.

Would be better if Commons played more centrally, where he does his best work. It only takes a moment to score and Commons is the one to provide the spark.

Half way there – one goal puts us in a very god position
Helsinki will get another chance. We were lucky that Mr Savage didn’t connect with that cross otherwise a cert goal for them. We need to score 1st and soon

Watching the game as best I can at work . We looked to be in control of the game for long spells. With them only needing 1 goal, we really need to score to settle the nerves, and I don’t just mean mine. The Bhoys have adapted well to the pitch and it is not a factor. Wanyama and Brown look strong in midfield and Charlie very composed as usual at the back. Sammi and Commons will need to be tracking back more when we lose possession. Ledley has been quiet but adding good presence in the centre left position making it difficult for them to find space. They seem to have nothing up front so as long as we maintain composure and attention for another 45 we should be fine. Way too early in the season to be suffering from these nerves.
