The Swedish defender was drawn against his countrymen from Malmo in the play-off round and admits they are the side he didn’t want to face.
Lustig believes Ronny Deila’s squad must take huge strides in the first leg towards the lucrative group stage because the Swedes are known for their strength on their own patch.
He said: “It’s special to get a Swedish team. but I would have preferred the sides from Kazakhstan or Albania.
“Malmo are strong at home, so we need to secure a good result in the first leg.
“You would rather play the second leg at your own place, but we’ll be sure to get a good result to take there.”
