HOOPER DILEMMA

FORMER Celtic striker Gary Hooper appears to be edging closer to the Norwich City exit

Carrow Road boss Alex Neil is on the trail of Dynamo Kiev’s DR Congo frontman Dieudonne Mbokani, who is keen to move to the English top flight.
The experienced international, who has claimed 15 goals in 30 appearances for his country, has already played in Belgium, Germany, France and the Ukraine.
Neil is weighing up a bid with Kiev valuing the 29-year-old in the £5million bracket.
Hooper, who cost the East Anglian side an identical amount when they signed him from the SPFL champions two years ago, has been linked with a return to the Glasgow giants since the turn of the year.
It look as though his days at Norwich are numbered. He scored only eight goals in his first season when the club were relegated.
The 27-year-old has been spotted at Celtic games, most notably along with former Hoops colleague Joe Ledley, now with Crystal Palace, at the 2-0 League Cup semi-final win over Rangers at Hampden in February.
Hooper will always be remembered by Celtic fans for scoring the last ever goal for the club against Rangers before they were liquidated in 2012 bringing an end to the Old Firm. Celtic won. Rangers died. The end.
