CELTIC will face holders St Johnstone in the Premier Sports League Cup semi-final at Hampden next month.
Ange Postecoglou will edge closer to his first piece of silverware as Hoops manager with a tough last-four encounter against the Perth outfit who overcame Dundee 2-0 at Dens Park last night.
The Greek-Australian gaffer is looking forward to the clash and said: “It should be a great occasion.
“St Johnstone are good opponents and they did very well last season in both Cups.”
TAKE A BOW…Filipe Jota races away after scoring the first goal against Raith Rovers.
The Hoops booked their place in the last four with an entertaining 3-0 win over battling Championship outfit Raith Rovers.
The Kirkcaldy side, who had knocked out Livingston and Aberdeen to reach this stage, were never in with a chance of adding a third Premiership scalp on this occasion.
Filipe Jota and Liel Abada netted in the first-half and David Turnbull added a superb third goal just over a minute after the turnaround.
In the other semi, Steven Gerrard’s side, who beat Livingston 2-0 at Ibrox last night, will take on Hibs who beat Dundee United 3-1 at Tannadice tonight.
The ties are due on the weekend of November 20/21.
