CELTIC have copped a £6,000 fine after fans let off fireworks and came onto the pitch in the 3-0 Europa League qualifying victory over Jablonec at Parkhead a fortnight ago.

Football’s European governing body have hit the Parkhead club yet again after the Hoops were charged with invasion of the field of play and lighting of a firework under article 16.

And UEFA ’s control, ethics and disciplinary body have imposed a joint fine for both offences.

Ange Postecoglou’s side won through to the play-off final on a 7-2 aggregate score and they face AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands tomorrow night with a 2-0 advantage following strikes from Kyogo Furuhashi and a deflected effort from James Forrest in the first leg in the east end of Glasgow a week ago.

The club are now 90 minutes away from the group stages and the draw will be made in Nyon on Friday afternoon.
