HOOPS IN LEAGUE SWITCH

CELTIC have switched their kick-off time for the Premiership encounter against Ross County at Parkhead a fortnight today.

The traditional starting time of 7.45pm has been brought forward to 6pm at the request of the champions.

The game against the Dingwall outfit, who knocked the holders out of the Betfred League Cup with a shock 2-0 victory at the same venue last month.

Neil Lennon and his struggling players, with only two wins in their past 12 outings, have a busy schedule between now and the turn of the year and still have another six matches to play, starting with the meaningless Europa League Group H fixture against Lille in the east end of Glasgow tomorrow night.

Then it’s back to league points-gathering at home against Kilmarnock on Sunday before other Premiership confrontations against Hamilton Accies, away on Boxing Day, and Dundee United at Parkhead on December 30 with the Highlanders due the week before.

Celtic will also take on Hearts on Sunday, December 20 in the delayed Scottish Cup Final where they can win their TWELFTH successive domestic piece of silverware while completing the astounding quadruple treble.
