CELTIC defender Jamie Lindsay has agreed a season-long loan at Ross County.

The 21-year-old spent last term with Morton, making 40 appearances for the Championship club and scoring three goals.

Lindsay was also loaned to Dumbarton in the previous campaign.

“Jamie is a young exciting talent who had a fantastic season on loan at Morton last year and I am delighted to get him to our Club. I would like to thank Celtic for assisting in getting this deal done,” Dingwall boss Jim McIntyre said.

The young Celt has joined the Staggies’ squad at their Spanish training camp, with the Highland outfit kicking off the new season at home to Alloa in the League Cup on July 15.
