CELTIC have been linked with Greek international Kyriakos Papadopoulos who is poised to quit SV Hamburg in the summer.
The 28-year-old defender was a target for Brendan Rodgers when he was in charge at Liverpool, but there were concerns over the player’s fitness.
However, Papadopoulos has been injury-free in the current campaign as has already played 25 first team games for the Bundesliga outfit.
The versatile back-four operator still has two years of his contract with SV Hamburg to run.
Rodgers has already raided the German market this season after spending £1million on RB Leipzig central defender Marvin Compper.
