CELTIC have been linked with a loan move for Spurs left-back Ryan Sessegnon.

Neil Lennon is searching for a new defender to rival Greg Taylor for the No.3 position with Boli Bolingoli’s Hoops career in jeopardy after his secret trip to high-risk Spain that created a severe backlash with fixtures against St Mirren and Aberdeen cancelled.

The champions released Jonny Hayes and Calvin Miller at the end of their contracts in summer and are now light on replacements at full-back.

The club, who are also interested in Brighton’s Republic of Ireland international centre-back Shane Duffy, are on the trail of the 20-year-old ex-Fulham star, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

Sessegnon made just 12 first-team appearances since joining from the Craven Cottage outfit last summer.

The England Under-21 ace has also been mentioned with other teams in Europe and Jose Mourinho may allow him to leave the London club to get game time.
