CELTIC pair Jozo Simunovic and Olivier Ntcham will walk a suspension tightrope against Zenit St Petersburg in Russia this evening.
Bookings picked up during the Hoops’ Champions League campaign have been transferred to the Europa League competition and the players are one caution away from missing a potential last-16 first leg clash.
Defender Simunovic was shown yellow cards in each of the defeats against Paris Saint-Germain, while midfielder Ntcham went into the book in the 1-0 loss against Anderlecht at Parkhead and also last week’s 1-0 win over tonight’s opponents.
Skipper Scott Brown, Moussa Dembele, Mikael Lustig, Eboue Kouassi, Nir Bitton, Patrick Roberts and Anthony Ralston have all picked up a booking each.
But should Brendan Rodgers’ side make it all the way to the semi-finals of the tournament, all cautions will be cleared.
