SIX of the Celtic team who figured in Brendan Rodgers’ 5-1 Glasgow derby debut win on September 10 2016 have left Parkhead.

Moussa Dembele, who fired in a hat-trick in his baptism in this fixture, moved in a £19.8million deal to Lyon on the last day of the August transfer window.

The French ace followed Stuart Armstrong, also a scorer against the Ibrox outfit, out the exit with the midfielder agreeing a £7million switch to Southampton.

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries, after losing his back-up position to Scott Bain, also quit in the summer while Ivorian veteran central defender Kolo Toure retired to join the Hoops coaching staff.

Fans’ favourite Patrick Roberts returned to parent club Manchester City after two-and-a-half seasons at the Hoops and Danish international centre-half Erik Sviatchenko was sold to his former side FC Midtylland after an initial loan period.

TEAM: De Vries; Lustig, Toure, Sviatchenko, Tierney; Brown (sub: McGregor), Bitton; Forrest (sub: Roberts), Rogic (sub: Armstrong), Sinclair; Dembele.
