CELTIC winger Lewis Morgan is poised to seal a loan move to Aberdeen, as CQN reported last week.

Pittodrie boss Derek McInnes is hoping he has convinced the Scotland international raider to agree a move to the Dons for the remainder of the campaign.

Morgan, who joined the Hoops from St Mirren a year ago in a £300,000 switch before being loaned back to the Paisley outfit, has options on both sides of the border and will make a decision within the next 72 hours.

Hibs have also inquired, but with uncertainty over Neil Lennon’s position, the Dons are favourites to land the youngster.

Hull City, Birmingham City and Sunderland, are also monitoring Morgan’s situation.

Ryan Christie, of course, enjoyed an 18-month spell at McInnes’ outfit before making his Parkhead breakthrough this season.
