HOOPS STEP UP WILSON BID

0

CELTIC are ready to push ahead in their efforts to arrange a loan deal for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.

The 21-year-old Welsh ace, who scored seven goals in 13 appearances for Hull City last season, is ready to agree a contract extension with the Anfield side.

And Merseyside gaffer Jurgen Klopp will immediately allow him to go out on another temporary transfer to get some crucial game-time.

Brendan Rodgers is looking for a direct replacement for former fans’ favourite Patrick Roberts who returned to parent club Manchester City at the end of the campaign after his two-and-a-half seasons at Parkhead.

Wilson is the target for several other clubs, but the lure of Europe and playing under the guidance of the Hoops manager could swing it in favour of the double-treble winners.
