ICELANDIC striker Holmbert Fridjonsson has left SPFL champions Celtic.
The frontman has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with his homeland club KR Reykjavik.
His move will be completed when the Icelandic transfer window opens a week on Wednesday.
Fridjonsson, 22, didn’t play a single first team game in his two years at the Hoops and spent last season on loan alongside Teemu Pukki at Brondby.
He played 11 games for the Danish outfit, but scored only one goal.
Finnish flop Pukki, though, ended the season as the club’s top scorer with 11 goals and they made the move permanent with the Parkhead men picking up something in the region of £750,000 for the player who cost £2million from Schalke two years before..
Ronny Deila moved Tony Watt last season to Standard Liege and has already ditched Pukki and Fridjonsson.
Next to go will be Amido Balde, who had two loan spells last season in Belgium and Israel.
