ICELANDIC STRIKER SET TO QUIT

CELTIC’S Icelandic striker Holmberg Fridjonsson has admitted in today’s mainstream media that he could leave Parkhead in the summer – as CQN Magazine informed you last FRIDAY!
We told you the 22-year-old, who has yet to make an appearance for the Hoops since signing from Fram in 2013, is coming to the end of his loan period at Brondby.
He has scored just one goal in 13 appearances for the Danes and will head back to Parkhead at the end of the season.
The player known as “Bertie” said: “It’s a bit difficult because I do not know my future.
“I don’t know whether I will be here, in Celtic or elsewhere. I need to talk to the manager about it.

“It was Neil Lennon, who picked me up and now there is a new manager who I have not spoken much with.

“Celtic have four or five good attackers and generally a strong team. It’s hard to make the team because there is so much competition, so a move is certainly a possibility.”
