ADAM IDAH was the loser as former Celts Kyogo Furuhashi, Tomoki Iwata and Patrick Roberts celebrated Birmingham City’s dramatic late 1-0 win over Swansea City at St Andrew’s yesterday.
The Republic of Ireland international striker, who quit the champions in a £6million switch to the Welsh club last month, was introduced to the action as a 74th minute substitute.
Versatile Japanese midfielder Iwata started the Championship encounter and Chris Davies, Brendan Rodgers’ one-time assistant at Parkhead, sent on former Hoops fans’ favourites Kyogo and Roberts in the 67th minute as his team searched for the breakthrough goal.

IN WITH A SHOUT…Kyogo Furuhashi is a big noise at Birmingham City.
Idah struggled to make an impact due to lack of service and the contest was settled in the fourth minute of stoppage-time.
Roberts, who had a two and a half year loan spell in Glasgow after arriving from Manchester City in January 2016, sent over an inviting cross from the right and Lyndon Dykes applied the finishing touch.
The Scotland international had only been on the field for seven minutes when he rose superbly to thump a header into the visitors’ net.
