The stats tell an enticing story, Milan have played thirteen competitive games since beating Celtic and won only two, but you can forget about them right now. Celtic are good enough to take three points tomorrow but it will require a perfect match plan if they are to do so.
This fixture will hold no fears for Celtic, who have been over similar ground many times before, but they face players vastly more experienced at playing the intensity of football which will be on display tomorrow evening. If we are to get anything from the game, we will have to subvert a team who will enjoy the majority of possession and territorial advantage, with impeccable defending and expert finishing.
We got it spectacularly wrong against Italian opposition last season, who were considerably weaker than the Spanish opponents who left Celtic Park empty handed, overwhelmingly as a consequence of diverging from the game plan which left Barcelona scrambling for a consolation goal. This is football at a remarkably unforgiving level, as Juventus let us know; you’re not in the SPFL now, Dorothy.
Did you get to speak to the CQN Girls handing out Annuals at the Superstore on Saturday? We’ve got budget to bring them along for one last time ahead of the Milan game tomorrow. See the video below for a glimpse of what we were up to on Saturday and thanks to everyone who has bought an Annual!

I watched the Milan game on Saturday in the pub, the only luck they got was bad luck. They played some cracking stuff, we will need to be at our best and take any chances we get.
Jamesgang.
I’ve not been for a while but I believe the cock tavern just off of euston road shows the games. It’s home to the London number one csc.
Me and a few other cqners will be going to the Wimbledon Irish centre to watch the game. 40 minutes away from euston on the northern line.
Just catching up, has a figure been mentioned for the collection on Saturday yet? Apologies if already discussed previously!

I know you better than that, mate!
I did enjoy the repartee yesterday. Some classic stuff. Particularly the line from SFTB about The Green Brigade singing the same songs-and being crucified for it-as some play in their cab for profit.
Did you see the post about the young fella being lifted at 4am?
Apparently this is standard police procedure.
IF THE SUSPECT IS BELIEVED TO BE ARMED!!!!!!
Otherwise,no,not really.
Where is the justification for that?
Oh,ffs,rant…..
Offski.
Honest Mistake – thank you Sir.
I’ll trust you enough not to be sending me into trouble at the intriguingly-named Tavern!!!!

Good to see JP Taylor addressing the many concerns raised re egress from the stadium via the stairs behind the Jock Stein. A capacity crowd tomorrow, darkness, possibly ice, and an exit route that cannot cope with the volume of people using it has the makings of unnecessary risk.
Seems to me they need to create a route to London Rd from the main stand.
Jamesgang.
Could have been worse.
Could have been the cock inn.
If no success at the cock tavern then the sheephaven bay is a 15 minute walk away.
Enjoy.
Score first tomorrow and I think we will win by a couple. Especially if we get that first goal in the first 15 minutes as that will ensure the crowd are still singing their hearts out and I think Milan will be dejected and we will score a 2nd before half time.
Easy :-))
Honest Mistake – champion!
Have checked it out online and it seems to still be home to CSC1.
Enjoy the game Sir.

If in the vicinity of Euston Station,I heartily commend The Doric Arch for a beer.
Between the station and the bus stance, bit hidden away. Just ask.
Great pint, cheap as chips for the area.
BTW,I was under the impression that the cock was no longer with us.
Might be worth phoning in advance.
Make or break tomorrow I hope our better players show up.

A little worrying but sure I will cope – always wondered just how old, oldtim actually is.
I was in the Cock Tavern a few weeks ago, it is still going.
He will have his favourite aftershave on now…o))
