ILORI & WILSON INTEREST CELTIC

CELTIC are keeping tabs on Liverpool’s highly-rated defender Tiago Ilori.
Ronny Deila had the Portuguese Under-21 centre-half watched during his nation’s friendly encounter with Denmark last week.
England-born Ilori signed for the Anfield outfit for £7million from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013, but has yet to make a first team appearance.
He spent five months in Spain last year on loan to Granada and is currently at French side Bordeaux on a temporary deal which expires in June.
Ilori could be available for another switch in the summer as Merseyside boss Brendan Rodgers wants his player to get consistent first team football elsewhere with Kolo Toure, Dejan Lovren, Martin Skirtl, Mamadou and Sebastian Coates ahead of the 22-year-old in the Anfield pecking order.
Deila could be left with a problem in central defence if Jason Denayer returns to Manchester City when his deal expires and Virgil Van Dijk continues to attract attention from the English top flight.
Everton and Sunderland are also monitoring Ilori’s situation._65436462_8337576
Celtic may also turn to ex-Liverpool defender Danny Wilson who was recommended to the Merseyside club by Kenny Dalglish. Wilson never made the breakthrough at Anfield but has successfully regained his form and confidence this season, captaining Hearts to the Scottish Championship.
Celtic are fully briefed on Wilson’s contribution to the Hearts’ triumph this season as the club’s scouts have been regulars in the stands at Hearts games.
