IT was another momentous European night at Parkhead as Celtic overwhelmed Lithuanian champions FK Suduva 3-0 to book their place in the Europa League group stages on a 4-1 aggregate.

In the end it was three and easy and the Hoops could have claimed a few more goals, as admitted by manager Brendan Rodgers afterwards.

The main thing, of course, was to get through to the £10million next stage and the seven-in-a-row title-holders managed that with a bit to spare.

On a special evening, Leigh Griffiths celebrated his 100th goal for the club while Kristoffer Ajer claimed his first!
