CELTIC celebrated 10-in-a-row on their way to nine-in-a-row with their 3-1 win over Kilmarnock at Parkhead yesterday.

Neil Lennon smiled as he watched the champions rack up their tenth successive domestic triumph in 2020 as they zoomed 12 points clear at the top of the Premiership.

The ninth flag on the trot is now in sharp focus with the Hoops six wins away from equalling the extraordinary feat of Jock Stein’s great teams of 1966 through to 1974. The victory over the Rugby Park visitors was the eighth win in the league since returning from the mid-winter break.

Plus the team have also seen off the challenges of gallant Partick Thistle and Clyde on their way to the Scottish Cup quarter-final where they will take on St Johnstone in Perth on Sunday.

Scotland’s title kings were stunned in the sixth minute when Killie were awarded a penalty-kick which was fired behind Fraser Forster by Eamonn Brophy. That stirred the Bhoys into a storming response and Kristoffer Ajer, the goal hero against Aberdeen at Pittodrie the previous week, thumped in the equaliser and Odsonne Edouard scrambled in the second before the interval.

Leigh Griffiths, with his fifth strike this year, made it three and, for the ninth consecutive year, the crown looks destined for the east end of Glasgow.

CQN‘s ace lensmen were at Celtic Park to capture the action. Here is the pick of the pics.
