ODSONNE EDOUARD indulged in his own Highland Fling in the east end of Glasgow yesterday during a devastating three-minute salvo in the 3-0 win over gallant Ross County.

The flamboyant Frenchman entered proceedings in the 63rd minute with the champions holding a narrow lead over the Dingwall outfit courtesy of Callum McGregor’s well-despatched penalty-kick in the first-half.

Try as they might, the Hoops could not double their advantage and that’s when Neil Lennon introduced Edouard for Leigh Griffiths, who fired a blank after scoring in his two previous comeback games against Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock.

The £9million man showed his penalty-box prowess when he diverted in a McGregor corner-kick with his first touch of the ball and he followed that up with a quickfire effort to ease the home side to three crucial points in their quest for the magical nine in a row.

Edouard has now claimed 20 for the campaign and, as he so capably demonstrated again, he will be a pivotal performer for the team at home and abroad over the next four months.
