IN PICTURES: CELTIC 4 MOTHERWELL 1

CELTIC had to overcome the setback of a controversial goal yesterday before they cemented a 4-1 triumph over Motherwell at Parkhead to remain eight points ahead in the pursuit of their EIGHTH successive Premiership crown.

Scott Sinclair claimed his 17th goal of the campaign with a neat side-footed effort following a sublime cross from Ryan Christie before Odsonne Edouard took centre stage to net a double – a header and an unstoppable free-kick.

Right on cue, Oliver Burke, on as a second-half substitute, curled in the fourth to bring down the curtain on another dramatic encounter in Paradise.
