IN PICTURES: FORREST ECSTASY BEFORE THE AGONY

JAMES FORREST rode the rollercoaster of emotions in the space of a couple of minutes in the 2-0 win over St Johnstone at McDairmid Park yesterday.

The Celtic winger got the champions’ long-overdue opener against stuffy opponents in the 78th minute – and disappeared up the tunnel only moments after his celebration with what looked like a hamstring injury.

Forrest fired in four goals the last time Brendan Rodgers’ side visited Perth, but he had to settle for a more modest one on this occasion.

CQN‘s snapper supreme Geo caught the Scotland international’s joy at piercing the Saints’ barrier as the Hoops restored their six-point advantage at the top of the Premiership.

Here is the pick of the pics.
