Apart from international breaks, when much of the squad is away, this is the first midweek Celtic do not have a game in over three months. For Wilfried Nancy, it is the first opportunity he has to spend time with the players without the pressure of preparing for a game, or recovering from a chastening experience. Christmas Day aside, this will be one of the most intense period of development since Ange first said, “Let me explain about inverted full-backs.”
Anything that can be achieved at Lennoxtown is likely to be needed ahead of the next three games. I hope someone has a word with Wilfried about Livingston. He is unlikely to have faced such a negative and timewasting side in his coaching career. Coming from the North American game, he will be familiar with plastic pitches, which adds an extra challenge to the occasion. Motherwell and Newco are far better teams, but they may present more straightforward propositions.
The point was made to me after Sunday’s win that it is clear how much the players are fighting for him. Without that commitment, teams do not make so many chances or get late winners. The lack of fight which some of us thought evident at Hampden a week earlier, was replaced by persistent pressure.
Adversity binds people, even those with little in common. The horrendous treatment Wilfried endured at Tannadice was either going to break or make his relationship with the players. Hopefully for all concerned, it is the latter.

Those stewards would not have dared to “lift” an older boy in that manner. One of them in particular deserved some retribution….

You need to laugh at grown men on the board crying cause they are getting a bit of verbal whilst allowing and endursing what amounts to a physical assault against children at the football ground. Same cunt complain about their own kids and grandkids being exposed to toxic shuff from fans. Would like to see their reaction if one of their children was getting dragged about like that by grown men.
This is the second such video in as many weeks of stewards manhandling a child. If the celtic board had anything about themselves they would already have addressed the over policing and they should remind staff that child safeguarding includes all children wjo attend any fuction operated by celtic park.
If i did, and i never would, that to my own children i could be reported and changed, its criminal. Kids may have to behave themselves at the game amd celtic may be allowed to kick them out, but no way should a kid be getting manhandled im order to remove.
As for a petition to support the board, get to so far to fu%£.
My Dear friends in Celtic land
I sincerely hope you have a peaceful and above all, a happy Christmas, with tons of good health in the coming year.
love you all

One Club. Back our Board, Team and Wilfried Nancy.

Still 13 😂🤣😅
As long as Nicholson bans fans, fan Media, from men and women’s teams, there will be no ” Goodwill to all” at CP this Christmas. The Collective, who are going nowhere, are not about to forget his actions, and will back their friends in protest.
He has no intention of instigating talks, unlike the Collective who have continually sought dialogue.. Since the first meeting when he admitted the dialogue between Board and fans had been poor, and would be addressed,he has not said a word, only putting out the banning orders.
i heard theres a Back The Fans petition being passed around the boardroom.
zero signatures so far.
Evening all.
Just a quick post to wish you all a happy and holy Christmas.
Mrs BB and myself are meeting up with extended family in darkest Aberdeenshire.
However, most importantly, we will be celebrating Christmas with our first grandchild, 3mos old, baby Juno Rose.
We are so excited.
I hope you all have a wonderful time and God bless you all.
And by the way, ‘mon the hoops’
HH
I just checked, how embarrassing he’s marketing his own petition. 🤣🤣🤣
Belmont Brian enjoy. I luckily see mine every week but I’m also spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day with them should be great.
So this so-called “incompetence” that supposedly holds us back. Does nobody find it strange that this “incompetence” mysteriously vanishes any time our domestic dominance is lost or looks to be under threat (Ange’s first two windows, January 24) and then magically reappears once it has been re-established (summer 23, January 25, summer 25)?
Maybe just me then…..
Looking at this Arsenal team, and the bench,Wow that is some squad.
Huddle,
At first glance I read a Black and Tans petition going round the Board.
I though,FFS,obviously their friends in the Constabulary, not forceful enough.
GTTF,
No not just you.
Sionniagh
Please go and have a lie down. When you awake have a look at our last signings and the recent attacks against the celtic support by the board, also perhaps look at where celtic plc is now from a position of strength last year . Thank you
Christmas wish from some guy ….
If you are going to back, cack, hack, jack, lack, pack, quack, rack, sack, tack or thwack the board …
.. can you do it out of sight or earshot of the team please?
👍
GlassTwoThirdsFull @ 8:10 pm,
Agreed…
The thing is now, our issues are compounding…
They have shown no ambition at all in 2025, quite the opposite.
However, how do they fix it in 2026? Doesn’t look like we have an Ange to call on.
They will be asking a lot of WN&Co
Hail Hail
They could surprised us this window.
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
When is AJ due back.Anyone know?He would be a massive addition for WN.
Will get the usual nonsense that the winter transfer window is difficult to conclude deals. They have said that every year and will expect the usual hard luck stories. We can expect a few loans and not much else.
Spikey,
Does not need to be U2 live in your garden.Just put an LP on the Radiogram, and a few cans. That will do.Good lad.Oh,a couple of slices of Milanda and Ham.
Andy Robertson in,KT moved forward, can switch.Munteanu at CF,A good loan RB.
There’s a start.

:))))))))
Darn those pesky tax laws and FSR…
Otherwise, you’d have been like a new signi…..
Hail Hail
==================
An understanding of how FSR works should inform those who understand it how much Celtic can spend in the next and forthcoming windows on playing squad.
From the accounts supporters will get an idea of how much is actually spent on the playing squad
which then allows questions like
why was more not spent if the limit was not reached
or
was it necessary to sell XYZ players if there was enough room under FSR limits not to do so
or
if not spent to FSR ceiling what is the difference ear marked for.
The kind of fact based questions as opposed to what at the end of the day are words at a point in time that lose relevance with the passage of time.
You do fellow supports no good service turning FSR into what it is not an excuse.
I know why I mention it, to help understanding of why Celtic do what they do.
What is your intent?
Well, it’s certainly under threat right now so you would like to be hopeful at least…..
As I said this morning, reading Auldheid’s explanation of FSR should be compulsory reading for every Celtic supporter. And, if I am not mistaken, Peter Lawwell had a lot to do with UEFA imposing it.
Here’s hoping the suggestion that DD is trying to build Celtic’s name in America is right. Maybe our new manager is a step in implementing that.

Fair enough I did say it was a long read which is why there is a two page summary at the beginning
Surely reading two pages is not too much work?
It means nothing to me whether you do or don’t – Oh Vienna
Enjoy Christmas. Oh I had a vaccination injection three months ago that saw me recover over 7 days from an upper respiratory infection.
My good lady caught it but had no vaccination. She is well now after 8 days in hospital.
Given the millions of folk vaccinated there are bound to be some whose system was not strong enough in the first place to overcome.
Have a good Christmas and steer clear of whatever it is I came back from Spain with. My wife says it was the Spanish Flu! It just turns up without as much as a Feliz Navidad.

One of the reasons Celtic got involved was to counter what Rangers had been getting away with for years.
After ebts and free loans from the bank it was loans from their Directors repaid by worthless shares.
FSR is hobbling Rangers in a way that has turned them into what they now are, an SPFL top sixer.
What has hobbled Celtic this last year is BR wanting to breach the policy that took Celtic to Bayern.
He fought the Board and The Board won.
Arsenal Vs Palace at penalties.
15 penalties no misses. Palace miss their 8th one.
Think our players could do with studying their techniques.

I was gonna sign your petition. But I kept coming up against last minute hitches and just couldn’t get the signature over the line.

Give it a rest , you tried this FSR subjective argument on SC, without success.
Said before if you were private office in our old employers it’s impossible I don’t know you!
Auldheid,
Please correct me.
We took in 30 million Euros in transfers.Could we not have spent this amount.
We spent 15 million,on Tounetki and Balikwisha,a couple of Japanese projects.
That’s a 15 million shortfall.?

There is a medical term for it. Bogeymanphobia.
Caused by the fear and worry AwNawNoagainvirus. (Fear the past will repeat itself) There is no vaccination, which will please Kev J. but laughter and humour lessens the effect. So don’t take this seriously.
It is no respecter of the boundaries around Celtic park, it thrives on football blogs well away from the ground.
It creates its own reality and marches to the beat of that drum.
In the meantime reality is marching to the beat of a much bigger drum outside in the real world.
Still, it passes the time I suppose.

……
Auldheid, and everybody else on CQN, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, but not the Sentinel Celts Grassing , snitching blog.
Booooo Hiiiiissss.
PS, Auldheid, this auld fella called, “God”, gave me a thing callled an, “Immune System”, dunno if you have ever heard of it before but I would imagine he would have given you one as well?!
You see, do you trust God’s Immune System, or Psycho killer, mass genociding with Fake Aids Virus, Bill Gates, who’s Dad/Grandad was behind the fake Spanish Flu, and big Pharma’s C19 poison darts?
Why do you think that the NHS symbol on all of the Ambulances have the image of a staff/wand/thing with 2 snakes wrapped around it?
Not a Godly image of the entrance to the health empire.
I posted some useful things about, Cancer cures, Vaccine lies, and other stuff, and some do-gooder deleted them.
Tims whit are they like eh.
Stay safe Mr & Mrs Auldheid.

oot.
SS- No idea, but as we had just scored, guys were celebrating as was the boy,and probably got distracted, Hargreaves got his excuse in early,…..so does ‘assault ‘ only go one way?
I’ve exchanged a number of emails with Mark Hargreaves regarding the incident and his responses can be summarised as follows.
The club’s position is that the stewarding response was appropriate and that physical intervention was necessary to prevent a pitch incursion, noting the individual had previously been warned earlier in the match.
He states that incidents are reviewed after every game through internal debriefs, with any learning fed into future match planning and briefings.
In terms of training, Celtic stewards receive in-house training, while third-party stewards are trained by their own providers. Safeguarding guidance is primarily delivered through a written Steward Handbook rather than scenario-based or practical training.
The club says safeguarding principles are covered through written guidance, match-day briefings and the availability of safeguarding stewards, who attend incidents involving minors when practicable. There is no fixed threshold for safeguarding intervention, as decisions are based on circumstances at the time.
He also notes that the club undergoes annual independent assessments of its safety policies, which are submitted to the Safety Advisory Group as part of the club’s safety certification
