Gutted about Griffiths, been in sparkling form. Leaving aside his very potent goal threat from anywhere inside 30 yards, his pace, movement and work rate for the team will be sorely missed.
Guidetti I think is a better link up player, but we’ll need the midfield 3 to make more runs off him to get in behind, than if we had the pace of Griffiths.
What’s the deal with Scepovic? Strange that he hasn’t traveled with the squad.

Did I just see Griffiths limping in the tunnel as if he was wearing some kind of protective boot.?

Well we are taking a better result on the road than either Arsenal or Manchester City so we deserve some credit for that. Pity about the Griff, would have been a good option at some point, maybe James Forrest can offer something later on.
Come on the Celts!

Nice piece on the first leg there on BT Sports 1.
Crowd being lauded for the support and atmosphere they created.
BBJ says BT pundits were “harsh” on the players going to the crowd at the end.

I second that. I think that this game could have been Leigh’s chance to prove to us all that he can make a difference up front in Europe.
game on in USA?
Please please Celtic don’t concede early. Be competitive but be wary of Italian gamesmanship.
We will need everyone to be switched on for the duration , then let’s see what transpires
No matter what, it is a great time to be a Celtic supporter.

Apparently injured in training last night.
Mancini: ” The atmosphere in Glasgow is incredible. I hope our supporters can push us like Celtic supporters”
Sorry to be negative, but I reckon it’ll be 2- or 3-1 to Inter.
I hope I’m wrong.

Cheers Mon the Hoops. Problem now is that if Guidetti is not firing on all cylinders, there is no obvious replacement to lead the line.
I say it before every European game, please Celtic don’t concede an early goal.

Ciftci has a hearing on Thurs March 5th.

I think if we see wee Jamesie late on, we’ll be struggling. If he does get on he should be on the right wing, literally.
Ronny: “not serious” on LG injury, hopefully. Maybe ok for weekend.
Says approach will be the same, a bit more cautious, maybe not go so hard with the full-backs.
