‘INTO THE UNKNOWN’ – GRIFFITHS

LEIGH GRIFFITHS is hoping for a ground-breaking experience at Parkhead on Thursday night.
The Celtic striker, who has scored three goals in as many games, is eager for the action to start in the Europa League last 32 encounter.
Griffiths said: “Inter Milan are a massive name in football and it’s going to be a great game.
“There will be a full Celtic Park and I have never experience that yet.
“Obviously, I’m really looking forward to it.”
Griffiths has started three games in European competition this season and made five appearances as a substitute.
As well as performing in front of a 60,000 crowd in the east end of Glasgow, the in-form frontman is determined to score his first goal at that level.
Meanwhile Ghana winger Mubarak Wakaso was delighted with Celtic’s win over St.Johnstone – despite being snubbed by Ronny Deila.
Wakaso returned to the SPFL champions during the week after playing for his country in last Sunday’s defeat to the Ivory Coast in the Final of the African Cup of Nations.
However, the player, on loan from Rubin Kazan until the end of the season, didn’t even make the squad for the game at McDairmid Park.
Wakaso, though, congratulated his Parkhead team-mates after watching them win in Perth.
He posted on Instagram: “Was great to witness the [Hoops] victory today great game [guys]#Celtic.”
Wakaso has made only 10 appearances and scored one goal since arriving from the Russian outfit at the start of the campaign.
