In all the summarising, no one has said that the penalty was a red card…surley that must be a talking point. NOT IN SCOTLAND

  3. All the talk on Sky about wahy ICT were poor – not how good we were – however credit to the ICT player saying Celtic never gave them a chance. McCann GTF you uncle tim

  4. Kojo – Great game and result. Glad your pre-match observations came to nowt. Maybe all that late night jiggin is catching up on your critical faculties.

Superb performance from a thoroughly professional Celtic side, backed by a deliriously happy travelling support.

Team selection, and tactics spot on, in a game we dominated from start to finish.

    Super Sammi went ballistic. CSC

Great effort today – a tricky tie well won and … what’s that coming over the hill is it the tax man?

Tanner can never hide his hurt when Celtic win, literally holding back the tears, while Patterson is desperate to create a new transfer story for Jim White to get excited about – but obviously rattled when Lenny put him in his place with suggestions Caley were not up for it.

I’m quite happy to listen to the references to previous encounters between the teams, that means they have nothing to get excited about today.

Sigh! Another hard game won comfortably. Another game where we get next to no credit for it. Sigh! Sigh! Sigh!

If I hadn’t seen the game And only listened to the after match comments I would think we were lucky to win and lucky that Hooper’s

    not away to Russia.

  10. Does anyone know if you can buy an instrumental version of Tom Hark? Its my birthday next week so i have the party theme sussed – RIP Rangers – the Conga to Tom Hark while singing we’re having a party when Rankers die is a must – need an instrumental version

  11. For me Charlie Mulgrew and Joe Ledley were stand outs; Sammi was Sammi, he bursts his jersey, all the rest deserved their wages but just for me, one seemed to be trying a wee bit more than the rest… my MOTM – Gary Hooper.

  12. After the Killers debacle, I wanted Lenny out. I couldn’t see any way of catching them and was low, very low. Forgive me Father, for I have sinned…

I was wrong. So so wrong. Never again will I doubt Neil – his is our manager for good reason. To overcome the nonsense he has had to put up with, and come out the other side a stronger better man, he deserves nothing but the utmost respect. My sincerest apologies to our great manager for doubting him. It won’t happen again.

“Oh over and over, faithful through and through.” Never again shall I forget these words.

God Bless Neil Lennon, God Bless Glasgow Celtic.

nope, whole end shouting they want rangers to die ,that theyll have a party and the huns are going bust , we all know its sectarian they were filmed close ups the lot. disgrace

Good mate, and they accuse us of being secrtarian

    ========================================

Really? What a laughable bunch of petulant children they are.

‘Sectarian. Sectarian. Your jumper’s sectarian. That man looked at me in a sectarian way. Hundred. That word’s sectarian. Hunting. That’s a sectarian sport. Huns. We’re all huns. We’re sectarian. Oh, hang on…’

  14. Well done to them team, management and supportA powerhouse midfield gave us the platform to win the battle on to Tynecastle more of the same then rip them a new one.

I thought the tackle from Tansey on Charlie was a straight red card not even a yellow so get this to the compliance officer.

Well done Neil and the Bhoys great game and result. Bring on the treble!

    Sandman – they are hurting.

BTW – they oft’ brag of the hundred trophies they’ve won.

Given the purchase price of the club (£1) does that mean each trophy is worth a penny?

If so, I will happily pay tuppence for each (that’s a 100% Craig – no bad eh?) and sell them for scrap.

    Hail Hail

  17. mncelt standing up for Neil Lennon on

Very solid performance and great win today. Hooper and Rogne were immense. We weren’t able to pass the ball as much today and Lenny got his tactics, selection and approach spot on. 3 big defenders, Sammi as an out ball and Hooper really working their defence over from start to finish. Broonie also did his bit in the middle. Good to see him in a run of form. One more tough away game on Wednesday – looking forward to it

  18. thebhoydaveJAPAN on

    Great result. Top preformance.

You know who stood out for me – esp. in the 1st half – JOE LEDLEY.

    Take a bow son.

Tireless. Great vision to cover a team mate.

Strong in the tackle. Sprayed a few passes around. Great ball across the face for Sammi in the first half.

Kept it going in the 2nd.

I agree Hooper was MOM – but when we have Broony, Ledley, Mulgrew, Matthews et al not to far behind…

    WE ARE CELTIC!!!

    Proud.

    Hail Hail all in Celtic.

  20. Dear PC McPlod i want to report Celtic fans for singing sectarian songs i do not them singing about us. We are a peaceful Asiatic people that just happen to have a bad press – Yours sincerely Attila (AKA Attila the HUN)

PS i did enjoy the Tims doing the Conga – might introduce that when we beat the bejaysus oot the Romans –

Excellent result,I listened to shortbread with murdo n co,didn’t think they were too bad although never really highlighted the fooling.

Great result.. Singing and humour fantastic throughout.. Even Mrs AB laughed…

Hope the Snyde pundit pre match( not sure which one as they all sound same )saying ” Hooper a shadow of his former self” is choking.. Did he not watch last week?

Eh? These people get paid to spout this rubbish negativity..

All in great day and butcher sick an added bonus..

  24. Larsson and McStay on

Solid performances by the Bhoys today all over the park……but my MOTM award goes to the AWAY Support who were outstanding . Watched the game with my son and dad, the 3 of us in stitches at the songs and scenes at half time . The bhoys doing the conga is something that will put a smile on my face for a long time.

  25. glendalystonsils on

Referee was a disgrace today. Nothing too controversial, just the usual lack of protection for our players. ICT are masters of “leaving the foot in” and got away with it all game. Still, If the likes of Wanyama and Matthews are crocked for the game against his beloved Hertz he’ll consider it job well done.

  26. Bigjie@ 14: 50

Thanks as always mate….yet another pint owed!

    Kojo…

Another Captain’s performance from Broonie…any thoughts on that?

“Butcher raging on radio and he has put his team on a war footing for next Saturday.”

Good. That’s further proof that we don’t need the Huns in order to have a competitive league.

  28. Eyes Wide Open on

I really did think the “we love you Celtic we do” was a great way to cap off the humour and vibrancy from the Celtic support.

Thats it at the end of the day, when you strip and pull everything off all the way to the bones – we love our football club.

Same cant be said of that other mob
