As I said a few weeks ago there is no such thing as a bad win.
But that was a dire display for the most part on a crappy pitch with too many players so far off form that it’s hard to remember that they are good players.
I saw SFTB’s comments re the distribution of good/middling/poor games in the good old days and – though I like to disagree with the fella- he is , as usual, not far from the truth. But I do think standards are lower than they should be – a helluva lot of those middling games I saw between 67//8 and 82/3 were far better than the stuff I’ve seen pre- Milan at CP and post Barca this season were of a basically higher standard
No such thing as a bad win but accept it was a poor game. But we’ve had worse results up there.

Pretty uninspiring stuff altogether. Disappointed for the many fans who left the house before the sun was awake, and got little to enjoy beyond a couple of Kris Commons moves.
The team are rarely stretched by the opposition, and look unprepared to stretch themselves, making for poor fayre for the onlooker. The ‘just enough’ mentality will result sooner or later in a late goal conceded, which might be the kick in the pants they need.
Neil will be happy enough to extend his unbeaten run, but he needs to address the mentality of players who are content to turn up without turning on.
