Won’t mention names but some of these ‘fringe’ players have been woeful. KC is lost and isn’t a striker. The passing has been slack and chances have not been taken.
Having said that, we should be ahead and in control. RD needs to have a quiet word at HT as few if any have worked their way into his thinking for Maribor with those displays.
Let’s hope for crisper passing, better movement and a first goal which should give the confidence and take ICT out of the game. Failing that, subs will be used that could do with a rest. COYBIG
Very poor ball control on display from Griffiths and Commons – both constantly fail to trap the ball and bring it under control.

Looking for big second improvement from Twardzik, Pukki and McGeoch…
Celts passing is dire.
Young Twardzik causing us big problems.
Commons, too, disappointing.
Other fringe players haven’t done their cause much good to date.
Very poor from Celtic. They can’t even get the basics right so age no excuse. Commons having another nightmare. Pukki looks like he is wearing lead boots. The least said about Dylan the better.
Only pass marks for me are Biton, Ambrose and Zaluska (by default).
I’d make 3 substitutions at half-time.
Dire stuff.
Poor finishing by Pukki and Commons with some bad luck for Biton keeps the score at 0-0.
If that was the FT score it wouldn’t be a problem, but Celtic have enough in the tank to take all three points.
Not as disappointed as some of you bhoys. Looking like a 2 0 or 2 1 hoops win to me. Reserves are doing ok……
Good to see Yogi has Inverness trying to play football. Refreshingly different than their approach under Butcher.
Quite happy to be level at the break, all things considered.
Ronny needs to do something about our left-hand side. Far too much space being afforded ICT down that side by Twardzik and Pukki.
Glad they were unable to take advantage.

Left back and striker needed
Twardzic simply isn’t a full back, he’s a midfielder. I’d like to see him given a chance in a more natural position.
Considering we made 10 changes that was an ok 1st half. Could easily be 2 or 3 nil. Maybe need to swap some players about position wise.
Can’t disagree with any of the comments Biton makes football seem easy finds a Celtic player with every pass

KC’s first touch continues to be poor. Let’s hope we get to see the real KC in thr second half.

Rather poor first half performance from the Bhoys. We are not playing the way we have seen over the last few games, understandable with the number of changes in the team, but surprising nevertheless that it is so different. Struggling to hold onto the ball and not closing down as effectively as we have seen.
Good performances from O’Connell and Efe in defense. Young Twardzik has struggled at left back – would rather see him pushed into midfield. McGeogh and Hendersen struggling to make an impact in midfield. Commons and Griffiths likewise up front and Pukki must be running out of chances. He should have scored but delayed his shot and allowed the keeper to close the angle.
Biton had the one moment of class in the first half when he sold the ICT a dummy and curled a beautiful shot off the underside of the bar.
It will be interesting to see how Ronny can change things up at half time
